In most counselling systems like IPU CET, once you participate in a spot round and are allotted a new seat, the previous seat is usually forfeited. This means if you’ve been given a seat in Maharaja Agrasen Institute in spot round, your earlier seat in JIMS may not be retained unless the rules specifically allow a “freeze” option before participating in the spot round.
