3) PUMBA: same as above
Hi Abhilash, Yes it is true. Normally JBIMS gives seats to other state aspirants only very few and only if the Maharashtra domicile students are given admission. This year even Cat percentiles of around 99+ percentile have not received a call yet from JBIMS. So most probably according to the reports, JBIMS is almost for Maharashtra domicile aspirants
Hi Somia, the college you mentioned is one of the top most b-schools in India. And you can expect mostly everything to be going down correct in there. Generally colleges cannot expect to release amything fake, as it would spoil the reputation of the college. And there is a simple logic in it. Generally the most bright students across the nation only gemerally go across all odds into JBIMS, so mostly the bright studemts wont flunk it up much during the placements as well. And JBIMS brings across a variety of companies for all ramges of studemts during their two year course and manages to push through all the students that out in for placements. And finally though it all depends on the individual that makes the college to achieve these feats.
Hello Monish..
Thanks for contacting Careers360..
No..
JBIMS will accept only MH-CET score for the 2018-20 batch . JBIMS offers only MMS and Msc finance programme. Due to notification of government of Maharashtra, JBIMS statet that they will follow CAP round process only so it means there is no seat for OMS students. So if you have Maharashtra domicile then only you are eligible. A minimum score required is 99.90 percentile is good enough.
All the best !!
No. There is no sectional cut off.
Hello
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to the postgraduate degree courses in Management (MBA/MMS) in participating institutes of Maharashtra.
Other state students can also appear for the exam and apply for admission. As per the official Brochure, 15-30 percent seats will be reserved for All India Candidates.
Candidate must fulfill the MAH CET eligibility criteria which is as follows-
Candidate should ahve completed Graduation (or equivalent) from any recognized university.
Candidates belonging to the General category should have scored 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent and candidates belonging to the reserved category must have scored 45 percent marks.
Candidates in the final year of their Graduation degree are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam. However, final year students will have to produce the graduation certificate at the time of counselling.
Application forms of MAH CET 2019 has been released on 10 January 2019 and the last date to submit the application form is 15 February 2019.
You can apply for the exam and prepare well for the exam.
Good Luck!
Hi Digambar,
Yes, JBIMS accepts CAT scores. However, the admission to that college will be done on the basis of the MH-CET and CAP Counselling and chances for non- Maharashtra domicil applicants are less. Therefore, in order to be eligible for a ctoff you need to score very high in exams like CAT/ CMAT or CET.
I hope this helps you but please feel free to contact me for any further query.
I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.
The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.
BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
