Hello Olivia Chaudhari..
Thanks for contacting Careers360..
No, JBIMS (Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies) does not accept the CMAT score. The admission into JBIMS is based on CAT, GMAT and MAH CET MBA score.
All the best:)
I don't think it makes a big difference whether you are taking the CET exam for the first time or the fifth time. Chances of you making it to JBIMS depends on the level of your preparation and how effectively you are able to use your 2.5 hrs of the exam.CET is an easy exam as compared to CAT and may require a lesser time to prepare. I had a student who had joined me just 45 days before the exam without having prepared for any aptitude exam like CAT before. He managed to get a top 10 rank and make it to JBIMS.
Heyy Bhawana....
Yes you can. You just need to fulfill this two conditions:
Applicants applying for the MAH CET 2019 need to be a graduate or have acquired an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
General category candidates must have obtained 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and reserved category candidates must obtain 45 per cent in their undergraduate studies.
JBIMS will participate in the Centralised Admission Process conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra. This means that the CAT score will be used for admission under 18 All India seats. To get through, one would need a 99.99 or a 99.98. Typically, nobody with such high scores in CAT apply for this, so, take CET and CMAT and try to get a 99.99 or a 99.98
JBIMS will issue calls on the basis of CAT and CET scores after considering profile of applicants. Profile includes past academic record, work experience, extra-curricular activities. This will be followed by a GD, PI, WAT and a combined score will be used for final selection. When this process was followed, nobody with a score less than 98.8 converted if I recall correctly, however, a higher score didn’t guarantee a convert.
The best option is to take CAT, CMAT, CET and be ready with a good score.
Also understand that last year all 120 seats of JBIMS were strictly reserved for Maharashtra Candidates only. And not even a single one was given to anyone else. And the experts and Industry reacted very negatively to this as the Quality of students and Diversity in the Bschool was Diluted.
It can follow the same trend this year as well or maybe change it and open it up for others.
And yes you do not have to apply for both as per the last year. The bigger problem is to not loose admit cards of Cmat or Mahcet whichever you are giving they will be required for the admission process.
Get ready with a good Cmat or Mahcet score and be ready also for GD and PI.
Hope this helps! All the best.

I like my college. I don't face any infrastructure-related issues. It is one of the best campuses for MBA. Sports facilities are available, so students enjoy a lot with it. A lot of games and sports activities are conducted in the college.
The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus.
BIMS is 50 years old, so the infrastructure has not been renovated as per standards. But surely you will like the vintage architecture. Classrooms and library are well equipped with air-conditioners and digital boards. We do not have hostel on campuses,
