JCET Ottapalam Facilities

Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad provides various facilities to the students in the college. The Infrastructural facilities of JCET Palakkad include Classrooms, Library, Hostels, Fitness Centre, Sick Room, Workshops and Seminar Hall. Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad provides Medical and Transport facilities to the students. The entire campus of JCET Ottapalam is fully Wi- Fi enabled. The college Library follows the Open Access system to access the Reading material. The Books are Barcoded and scientifically classified into DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification scheme). The college Library has a Circulation section, Reprographic section, Newspaper Reading section, Technical section, General Reading area, Periodicals Section, Journal section, MBA Reference section, CD- ROM storage and Digital Library.

JCET Ottapalam provides various indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities to the students in the college campus.
I.T Infrastructure
JCET Palakkad has an Internet of Things Lab (IoT lab) whose main objective is to build up technical expertise and to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in the IoT domain. The Lab provides students and faculty members the access to the latest tools and resources in IoT.
Cafeteria
The college has a Cafeteria and a Canteen which serves healthy and nutritious food and snacks to the staff members and the students at reasonable prices.
Auditorium
JCET Ottapalam has an Auditorium which has a seating capacity of approximately 800 people. The college also has Seminar Hall where a number of formal and informal events of the college take place throughout the year.

Do JCET, Palakkad provide to and fro bus service to nearest Rly station?

Hello,

Yes, JCET (Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology), Palakkad, provides bus services for students and staff from different parts of Palakkad and Coimbatore.

The nearest railway station to the college is Ottapalam Railway Station, which is about 7 km away. But it is not clearly mentioned if there is a specific to-and-fro bus service from the railway station to the college.
