JNNCE Shimoga admissions are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels under different specialisations. Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Shimoga admissions under different specialisations such as Management and Business Administration, Engineering and Architecture, and others. Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Shimoga admissions are granted to candidates who meet the JNNCE Shimoga eligibility criteria. 

For JNNCE admissions, the entrance exams accepted by the institute are COMEDK UGET, KCET for UG B.Tech courses. Karnataka PGCET, GATE for JNNCE PG courses that are M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA and MBA degree courses, and lastly, ULTRA test is conducted for JNNCE doctoral courses Ph.D programmes. • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the college.

• Candidates must appear for the COMEDK UGET/ KCET entrance exam and obtain a decent rank.

• JNNCE cutoffs will be released after the results of the entrance exams are announced.

• Candidates who have acquired the required cutoff percentile may proceed with the counselling round of the respective entrance test.

• Firstly, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria for the courses,

• Then, candidates may fill in the VTU application form and qualify for the ULRA test.

• Candidates who have qualified in the ULRA test will be shortlisted for a personal interview.

• A merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the entrance test (25% weightage), personal interview (25% weightage) and qualifying exam (50% weightage).
