I am studying diploma in electrical engineering. I have an interest on electrical field and i want to know how current supplies in home. Faculty members are well qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable . The course curriculum is much relevant and it makes students ready for industry. Moreover, the college offers six months industrial training for the betterment of students. Also they give a chance a for two months Training of autocad from L&T. Overall i have an amazing experiences.

If you finished your ITI, then you are admitted directly to the 2nd year Diploma programme in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and DETC courses. You have to write VOCLET exam. The VOCLET exam is conducted by WBSCTE. Even though you are not from West Bengal, you can still apply for VOCLET but you have to select your category as outside State Candidate. VOCLET will be conducted on April 26th and you can fill in the application form at https://exam.webscte.co.in/JEXPO-VOCLET

jhan chndra polytechnic college is one of the oldest polytechnic colleges of west bengal. it has 3 years diploma  course program on Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and electronics and tele communications. it has 2 years course on diploma in pharmacy. as this is a really old college many companies comes for recruitment. overall placement result is moderate.
