MITE Mangalore Placements

The MITE Placement Cell has placed 425 out of 467 undergraduate students and 151 out of 174 postgraduate students. According to the NIRF Engineering Report 2025, the college has offered an MITE Mangalore median package of Rs 4.60 Lakhs to undergraduate students and Rs 5.25 Lakhs to postgraduate students during the academic year 2023-24. As per the official website, Rs 50 LPA was MITE highest package offered to students during placements in 2024.

MITE Mangalore has a training and placement cell on campus that manages and handles the placements-related activities of the MITE college. The graduating students at the Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering are offered various skill development and training programmes before the MITE placement drives.

The MITE placement cell provides skill development and training programmes to the students including problem-solving assessments, soft skills, latest technology training, field-specific training, communication skills, interview techniques, and more career-related training programmes on the MITE Mangalore campus.

There are many companies that come to our college for recruitment. Placements in the software are very good. Students can have a great opportunity. The lowest salary package is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package goes up to 32 LPA. Students in our college get an internship for one year.

Is mechatronics course good at mangalore institute of technology and engineering (MITE)

Hello Jeevan Sai,

I appreciate your interest towards Mechatronics and I'm here to solve your issue!!

Firstly, Mangalore Institute of technology and engineering is one of the best colleges in Mangalore and has a very good infrastructure and faculty too. You probably doesn't have many colleges offering Mechatronics in this area and this branch was started recently and new. Eventhough, you'll have a good industrial exposure anf laboratories and placements are also good relatively and they provide good training for getting selected in the companies. Finally, this would be the best option for you and keep it on the top preference.

Which is better Chitkara university or mangalore Institute of Technology and engineering? What are the advantages?

Hello Harsh,

Both the colleges are good in terms of placement facility, infrastructure and faculty. In chitkara university almost 90% of the student got placement and in manglore institute of technology and engineering 75-80% student got placement. Infrastructure of both the colleges is very good. Overall both the colleges are good.
