Hey participation in JOSAA counselling is based on your eligibility and for being eligible for JoSAA counselling 2019 you need to ckear JEE Mains 2019 cutoff which was 89 percentile for general category. If you have cleared JEE Mains cutoff then you can definitely apply for JoSAA counselling. 

Hi, for iiest shibpur no state counseling is done it takes admission through josaa counseling process.You don't have to do anything different for home state quota you have to fill the counseling form and fill the choice of colleges in that form if you want iiest shibpur put iiest in first or top of the list then according to your personal details given already your state quota will be applicable and you can get a seat.

See with this score in JEE mains u can go for the JoSAA counselling but that won't help u in any way to bag u a seat in the good colleges like NITs IIITs or GFTIs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest under the btech courses. If you are expecting NITs or SPAs with this score then you shouldnot.

To get into NITs ot SPAs you need a rank under 2-3K. so, with 15K rank i dont think you would be able to get any good government college.

As of now even to get a decent college even 5K rank will not be suffiecient. but you can try for some of the private colleges of bengal and punjab.

I would suggest you participate in JoSSA counselling because it will surely give you a chance in the 7th round because there is a reservation for female quota in some NIT's like NIT Meghalaya - Civil and Mechanical branch.

It will also give you a chance in some IIIT's as well.

The JoSSA counselling form will be available in the second week of June.

Yes, of course you can apply for josaa counselling you may have chances to get seat in spot round so,don't lose hope, apply for it.

This is only based on luck.But you must have to apply for this. 

IF YOU HAVE TO SELECT ALL BARANCHES.IN EVERY COLLEGE. 

HOW MANY NITS COLLEGES ARE THERE IN INDIA THERE YOU HAVE TO APPLY AND YOU HAVE TO SELECT ALL BRANCHES.

SO ALL THE BEST, BUT YOU MUST HAVE TO APPLY FOR NIT COLLEGES.

There is no such criterion to be eligible for JoSAA counselling. If you've got a NTA score above 94-95 percentile you could get a decent college.
