Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research, Panvel admission process follows a competitive and merit-based procedure for all Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. PIMSR Panvel admission cycle is generally aligned with the academic year that starts in August-September. The institute accepts scores from a variety of national-level entrance exams, such as Common Admission Test (CAT), Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET), and Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). These tests are usually held between November and March.
The eligibility criteria for admission to programmes at Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research include a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The candidates who have appeared for any one of the accepted entrance examinations are compulsorily required to appear there.
PIMSR Panvel admission process for management programmes have multiple stages. Shortlisted candidates, after passing the entrance exam, may undergo a group discussion and personal interview. The admission decision is finalised considering the candidate's performance in all these stages and his or her aggregate score.

The college offers a two-year full-time MBA programme. PIMSR Panvel admission process for MBA is more or less similar to that of MMS. Candidates have to appear for national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAH MBA CET, or CMAT. The selection is done based on the entrance exam score followed by a group discussion and personal interview.
The MMS programme at PIMSR Panvel is approved to have an intake of 180. Admission into this course takes place through Common Entrance Test CET and the central admission process under DTE. A student, before getting an admission into this course, will have to face CET followed by Group Discussion and personal interview. Based on the overall score of all the above components, admissions are offered into the course.
Prospective candidates must have cleared at least one of the management entrance exams (CAT, CMAT, or MHT MBA CET) for Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research admission process to their preferred programme.
All the faculties are really good and are very helpful. They support students in every possible way. They also guide students for the placement. There are so many experienced teachers who teach in a very easy manner
Overall faculty is good in MMS. Some of the teachers are new but their teaching methodology is good and easy to understand. Where as so many experienced teachers are also there. Our curriculum is updated.
Faculties provide adequate study materials. The course curriculum includes extra lectures called value added courses to develop knowledge of the corporate sector in students and prepare them to face the corporate industry. I am pursuing MBA batch 2023-25.
