Ramkrishna Mahato Government Engineering College Purulia (RKMGEC) is a government engineering college. Ramkrishna Mahato Government Engineering College provides undergraduate engineering courses and is an affiliate of the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. RKMGEC admission process is formulated to choose deserving candidates on the basis of competitive entrance tests.

The main method of admission to RKMGEC is by way of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). Moreover, the college also accepts Joint Entrance Examination (Main) or JEE Main scores for admission to its B.Tech courses. The process of applying for admission to Ramkrishna Mahato Government Engineering College consists of the following steps:
