College since 2001 has a great infrastructure and a vast area filled with great environment. There are various open various and buildings are constructed at right places without and congestion and sufficient student seating arrangements.
its been great academic career in RNSIT as a mechanical engineer. There are very well educated lectures who tend to teach very satisfactory and for a great futuristic approach. with sufficient supply of notes and library books.
Placements as a mechanical engineer have been great as observed for seniors in companies for BOSCH, Infosys, Conizant. And many IT companies tend to pick up there people from our college who are very knowledgeable and have a great up to date information right of the trend in the respective fields.
Great value for money.
Its been good being for a span of 3 years observing various college development and involments.
Good infrastructure, well flourished library. Labs are very well equipped and maintained. Hostels are provided with wifi to support learning.if you are into sports the campus is well equipped to support that also.
Rnsit provide good teaching staff who encourage towards new learnings and guide in all aspects. Rnsit provides all required online and offline stuff to ensure we are learning something new everyday and keeping step ahead towards growth.
Placements at Rnsit are decent. I am seeing everyday that my seniors are placed at good companies with good packages and college expose us to real world competition, and guide us to achieve our goals.
A institution with difference. Rnsit Bangalore is a great place for engineering students who wish to learn practically and apply in real life problems. I am pursuing engineering at Rnsit. My experience at rnsit is great filled with activities new learning.I have the clubs for all my academic and non academic interests. I am exposed to all new cutting edge technologies and learning
the infrastructure is good with a wide and spacious labs and equipments .All the classrooms are kept clean and neat , there are projectors in all the classes and wi-fi is available in all the blocks.
there won't be any compromise on teachers end when it comes to syllabus, they complete it on time and fully .they give opportunities to students to do seminars so that we get that confidence while presenting and also they encourage us to do mini projects which helps us to learn the concept practically also.
The tpc starts from 5th sem which helps us to get ready for placements , there will be many guest lecturers who gives us knowledge regarding this, the on campus placements are good. the placement training given by department is also good, they do mock interviews to get that confidence in us to attend placement interviews
since I am from kcet background , the govt fees for me is 96,500 other than that I do pay 15000 as tuition fees which exam fees and other thing too.yes , i do feel the money is worth because of the quality of education they are providing
the campus is fully green and all the blocks have good ventilation .when it comes to department they encourage us to participate in various project exhibitions , webinars , hackathons though it's not relevant to us as electrical people. They also conduct workshops , recently there was a robotics workshop by NEWRO people which was really amazing and there was also workshop on vlsi and pcb manufacturing conducted in the department. the teachers are good and have a great experience of teaching and the staff or attenders at the lab are also very supportive.
an amazing experience i h=am having on campus will all the facilities provided by the department and college.
the college provides all necessary resources like library, gym, labs, food court, Auditorium, Amphitheater, classrooms, washrooms, Parking area and etc. but the architecture is a little bit outdated.
The college follows vtu curiculum which is a little bit primitive. So, the college provides good external resources like certifications, projects, workshops, hackathons, conferences, talks, student engagement program and etc to excel yourself
The college provides good internship and placement oppoptunies. But it is upto you to put prepare and work hard acccordingly. There are a few ups and downs when it comes to placement. But it is really important to stay optimistic.
i joined through management quota and i had to pay a fee of 600000 rupees annualy. It might sound like an hefty amount but personally I feel that it is worth because i have improved a lot as a person after joining this college
the campus life is really great here at rnsit. the college has a strict no rag policy so i personally hv not experienced nor have i seen someone go through ragging. I have really made good friendships in this college which i will cherish throughout my life

the collage offers a well-balenced academic envirnoment that promotes both theoritical knowledge and ractical application. the faculty memebers are knowledgebale, approachable, and dedicated to students success. there is a strong emphasis on skill developemnet, research, and extracurriculum activities.
the academic envirn\onment of the collage is rigorous, structured, and student-centric. the curriculum is regularly updated to match current industry trends and global strandards, emsuring students gain relevant.
the collage has dedicated training and placement cell that actively works to bridge the gap between students and industry. each year, reputed companies from various sectors-such as IT,core engineering PARTICIPATE IN CAMPUS RECURITMENT.
the collage offers excellent value for money by providing QUALITY EDUCATION AND FACILITIES AT AN AFFORDABLE COST. THE TUTION FEES ARE REASONABLE COMPARED TO OTHER INSTITUTE. student benefit from qualified faculty.
campus life at the collage is lively, inclusive, and enriching. students enjoya balanced blend of academis, extracurriculum activities, and social engagement.various clubs and students organization-ranging from cultural and technical to library and sports
the college ha great positive overall vibe , good faculties and highly competitive . CSE department takes on various different activities and tournaments , hackathons and cultural events.students are highly encouraged to do research and innovative projects .
faculties teach at very good pace keeping in mind slow and fast learners. there are 3 internal examinations which help students cover their modules of their course work effectively and regularly. assignments and projects are required to be done every semester.
placements in RNSIT is overall good and very competitive. one must muster all his technical skills and interpersonal skills to grab on the opportunities provided . Multiple MNC's and different research and technical companies do come and offer opportunities ( jobs and internships).
fees is static and fixed , there are two mode of admission based on merit ( current fee structure i don't know ) , scholarships are provided from various state and central government schemes and regulations.
Eco-friendly and a large campus. campus hosts a variety of green and lush trees and bushes . there is a amphitheater within the campus where all the cultural events takes place. the campus has 2 grounds for sports and practice , a basketball court and indoor activities center.
research is pushed here and innovation is critical aspect of university seed grant or project funding.
It's been a knowledgeable time that I will be spending in RNSIT campus, being 2Nd yr student of EEE branch we are provided best of the lab facilities and learned teaching and technical staff who share their best of the knowledge relevant to course. I would recommend for the course EEE at RNSIT for aspirants
qualified teaching and technical staff who give their knowledge in best possible manner with systematic teaching with practical real time examples. Machines labs are the highlights of the department
Through seniors we have understood that TPC of college give rigorous placement training in soft skills, logical reasoning and technical content to fetch a job in our domain as well as on par with IT domain
Been taken admission in EEE branch, value for money in joining the course is best decision made, we have been encouraged for research activities through URF and students are provided opportunities to work as research assistant
Great ambience with good amenities for sports, curricular activities, food court, auditorium to conduct events, induction programme and mini auditorium for technical events ,good connectivity to different corners of the city
RNSIT has a good campus with clean classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a decent library.Wifi facility is not so good. There are good sports facilities. All are well maintained.Heard that the hostels are decent, with good security, regular cleaning, and mess facilities, although food quality can be average.
RNSIT maintains good academics with experienced faculty and a structured curriculum. The college has good theory and practicals, especially in engineering courses. Regular exams and assignments help keep students on track.
RNSIT offers decent placement opportunities, especially for CS,IS and ECE branches. Many reputed companies visit the campus, and the placement cell is active in training students.Average packages are fair, with some high packages for top performers
Pretty good.
Campus life at RNSIT is vibrant and balanced. Students enjoy various clubs, fests, and cultural events throughout the year. The environment is friendly and supportive, with a good mix of academics and extracurricular activities.
As a current student at RNSIT, I can confidently say that the college has really good infrastructure. The classrooms, labs, and library are well-maintained, and the environment is quite peaceful and perfect for studying. The Wi-Fi works well in most areas, and the campus overall gives a good academic vibe.
One thing I really appreciate here is the focus on academics. There are frequent seminars, workshops, and tech talks organized across departments, which help us stay updated and practically involved. The faculty is supportive, and the teaching quality is solid—especially for students who are serious about tech and want to focus on their career.
Placements at RNSIT are actually quite good, especially if you're from branches like CSE, ISE, or ECE. The college has tie-ups with a lot of well-known IT service and product-based companies. During our placement season, companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, and Mindtree were regulars. A few product-based companies like Cisco, Dell, Adobe, and NTT Data also came in, though they usually select fewer students and look for strong coding skills. The placement training starts well in advance, and the Placement Cell conducts regular aptitude sessions, soft skills training, and mock interviews. They also bring in external trainers at times. If you actively take part in the training, it definitely helps during interviews. For top branches (CSE/ISE), almost everyone gets placed, and multiple offer situations are common. The average package is around ₹4–5 LPA, while the highest offers go up to ₹10–15 LPA from product-based companies. For branches like EEE, Mechanical, and Civil, placement is a bit limited and mostly depends on individual effort or switching to IT roles.
if you're someone who expects a very vibrant college life with fests, cultural programs, or a happening campus culture, you might feel a little underwhelmed. While there are events like Samskruthi and other fests, I personally felt that the cultural and non-academic activities don't live up to expectations or aren’t as actively promoted as the academic side.

But if you're looking for a more balanced college life with both study and cultural exposure, this might not be the perfect fit.
Dear Candidate ,
The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering program at RNS Institute of Technology ( RNSIT ) , Bangalore offers decent placements , especially in core sectors . While placements for mechanical are not high as for CSE , students still get good opportunities with proper training and support from the placement cell . The average placement record is consistent, and well - know companies do recruit from the campus .
- Highest CTS ( 2024 ) : 6.5 LPA
-Top recruiters : Benz , Bosch , Toyota
-Internship stipends : Up to 25,000/month
-Placement count ( 2023 ) : 149 offers for mechanical branch .
Candidates for Round 1 Karnataka PGCET 2024 for MCA called for fee payment and counselling process is still going on so this is the first round there are more rounds to go thats why cutoff rank is not similar to previous year.
If you want to take chance for pes university and dayanand sagar of engineering you should wait till the further counselling process but remember it is not sure that you will get these colleges as this depends on various factors.

Hi NIkhil,
I hope you're doing well!
Choosing between CSE at RNSIT and CSBS at Nitte Meenakshi really depends on what you're looking for in your studies and career goals. CSE at RNSIT might offer a broader and more traditional computer science curriculum, while CSBS at Nitte Meenakshi could provide a more specialized focus if you're interested in combining computer science with business studies.
If you have specific interests or career goals, that might help guide your decision. Both are good options, so consider what aligns best with your aspirations.
I'd appreciate it if you could rate this reply and let me know if you have any other questions!
