School of Engineering, University of Mysore, Mysuru Admission Process

The School of Engineering under the University of Mysore has a reputation of high prestige, and has passed through long traditions. This makes it one of the oldest engineering colleges in Karnataka, offering undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes in several branches. The SOE UOM admission process has been aptly planned to ensure that bright and deserving candidates gain entry into the various programmes that it offers. The SOE UOM admissions are conducted almost in accordance with the academic calendar of the University of Mysore-general, starting from the months that precede the actual commencement of the academic year running from August-September.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) emerges as the main basis for admissions at the undergraduate level; KCET is the mandatory examination for SOE UOM admission into their B.Tech courses.
