HELLO,

Class 10th and 12th mark sheets are the most important document and you can not have any mistake on them. But by chance if you have, CBSE provides a chance to correct it. You need to follow the following steps:

  1. Download the application form from https://www.cbse.gov.in/ and take its print.
  2. Fill the application form and you cannot tolerate to have mistakes this time so please check before submitting it.
  3. You need to submit your leaving certificate provided by schools and portion of the page of admission and withdrawal register of the school where the entry has been made with respect to the candidate.
  4. Pay the correction fees (for your name it is Rs. 1000 and Rs. 1000 and cost of document for Mother's/Father's name).

After you have completed all these steps, board will make corrections in a time period.

Hope it helps.

Hello student,

If you are studying in lower classes then the fast and most important step to solve any word problem in the vast subject mathematics is that visualisation of the problem. If you can view the picture in your mind and draw that only on the paper it will be easy for you to highlight the parts what you have to calculate more easily. You also need to find the equation part and write the equation part clearly on the paper to solve it. Now you simply need to solve your problem by your own and write the answer and highlight it properly. Hope this will help you

Hi Learner!

In most of the cases it depends on the teacher who checks the answer sheet. So it is most likely that teacher will award you the marks on the basis of step marking. Some of the rules by the CBSE for step marking are as below:-

>> If the question is for one or two marks, then it is not likely that step marking will be done for such questions.

>> but if the question is for three to five marks, then this step marking will be done and the marks will be awarded according to that.

>> If only formula and other required details are written then 0.5 to one mark will be awarded.

>> if the answer is correct, but these steps are wrong, then 0.5 marks will be awarded.

>> if the answer is wrong due to any error or calculation mistake. But these steps are correct then  one mark will be deducted. It means if the question is of five Marks and you have only written the answer wrong, but these steps are correct, then you will be awarded with the four marks.

Thank you!
