Smt SR Nirani Government Polytechnic, Bilagi Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Smt. S.R. Nirani Government Polytechnic, Bilagi, established as a government autonomous institute approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has established a campus in Karnataka-Bagalkot district, offering diploma courses in some engineering streams. Admission to Smt. S.R. Nirani Government Polytechnic is intended to be simple and convenient as prescribed by the norms of the Karnataka state government for polytechnic admission.

Admission Process Degree Wise

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This area of study has a capacity for 60 students. It will enhance the knowledge of students pertaining to principles and processes of civil engineering. The admission will be primarily on the basis of good performance in the related entrance examination or in 10th standard.

Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: The program's intake is set at 30 seats and imparts the knowledge of basic concepts of computer science and programming methods. However, the scheme of admission will most likely be along the same lines in other diploma programs, that is, based on the academic performance of the candidate and, if applicable, the score obtained in the relevant entrance examination.

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: This course has availability for 60 students, covering systems technology dealing with electronics and communications. To be qualified for this, the prospective students will need to meet the general admission requirements and follow the normal admission procedures.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course will have 60 seats. The course will provide knowledge on principles and applications of mechanical engineering. Admission will be based on overall academic merit and for related entrance tests.
