The Sri Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib, and is one of the most eminent co-educational institutions in the state of Punjab, India. The college provides more than hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various streams. Degree wise Admission Process
BA: The college runs a Bachelor of Arts course with an intake of 400 students. Admission to the BA course is most likely based on the merit prepared from the result of the candidate in 10+2 examination. The course involves a broad liberal arts education covering multiple subjects.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications course is comprised of intake of 100 candidates. The admission would generally be on the basis of merit with consideration to the 10+2 result of the candidate mainly in mathematics and computer science subjects.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce course admits 75 students, further admission is based upon 10+2 results mainly in commerce-related subjects such as accountancy and business studies. The course mainly prepares students for all business and finance matters.
B.Sc: For B.Sc programs, the college provides Computer Science, Fashion Designing, Information Technology, Economics, Non-Medical, and so forth, each with specific intake capacity. Entry is principally decided on merit and is based on the marks achieved by a candidate in science subjects at the 10+2 level.
MA Punjabi: It is a postgraduate subject with a total intake of 60 students. The admission will be based on a merit list prepared mainly from the marks of bachelor's degree in evaluation of Punjabi language and literature.
BBA: The Bachelor of Business Administration course provides for an intake of 50. Admission is considered on the basis of merit prepared from the results of the candidate in 10+2, mainly on business-related subjects.
PGDCA and M.Sc Information Technology: Students shall be admitted to the programs on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the assessment of relevant bachelor's degree programs.
