This Postgraduate College also known as Swami Vivekanand Government Postgraduate College has a distinguished history. It has a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs on offer. Degree wise Admission Process
BA: Admission to the Bachelor of Arts is on the basis of merit, and subjects range from which the candidates may choose in the humanities. The merit largely comprises marks secured in the relevant subjects of the higher secondary examination (10+2).
B.Com: B.Com and B.Com with Computer Applications are offered at the college. Admission will be on merit as assessed through obtained scores in the 10+2 examination in subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, and Mathematics.
B.Sc: Various B.Sc program offers like Computer Science and Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics provide admission based on marks obtained for admission from 10+2 students with relevance to science-related subjects.
BBA and BCA: These professional courses are possibly going to have an entirely separate admission procedure and may consider the 10+2 marks along with maybe an entrance test or interview.
MA: Different MA programs are offered through the college to pursue Hindi, English, Economics, and Political Science subjects. Merit-based admission will be held based on the marks scored in the appropriate bachelor's degree.
M.Sc: The college provides a variety of M.Sc programs - Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and Zoology. Admission to the M.Sc program is merit-based, depending on the performance of the candidate in the relevant bachelor degree.
M.Com: Admission into M.Com program happens to be based on different marks obtained in B.Com or equivalent degree.
