Hello Tanmaya,
You asked about the fees for Management Quota seats in the B.E. Engineering program at UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering), Bangalore. Here’s what you need to know:
No Management Quota at UVCE
UVCE is a government-funded, autonomous state engineering college that only admits students strictly by merit—through Karnataka CET (KCET) or JEE ranks. There is no management quota or capitation fee seats available at UVCE.

Merit-Based Admissions Only
UVCE strictly adheres to counselling based on entrance exam merit. Whether seats are allotted via the 75 is to 25 ratio of CET to JEE, admissions are purely merit-driven.

Standard Fee Structure
For general-category B.E. students, the average annual fee is 22,000–22,430, totaling approximately 1.35 lakh to 1.94 lakh for the entire course
Independent sources suggest a flat fee of 48,000 per year across branches.

Clarifying Fee Misconceptions
While private or unaided colleges may offer management quota seats at high costs, UVCE does not. Any such claim for UVCE does not apply and likely comes from misunderstanding or misinformation that is not backed by official policy.
What You Should Do Next
Plan your preparation around KCET or JEE, as those are the only means to gain admission at UVCE.
For precise fee schedules or semester breakdowns, check the official UVCE website: UVCE—100 Years—First Engineering College of Karnataka (https://uvce.ac.in/index.php)
Hello,
It's not possible to join UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering) without a government seat. UVCE is a government college, and it does not have a management quota or direct admission process for undergraduate engineering programs. All admissions are strictly based on merit and are conducted through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) based on the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) ranks.
Since there are no non-government or management seats, the fee structure is standardized for all admitted students. For the B.E. program, the total fee for the entire four-year course is approximately rs 1.98 Lakhs. This fee is significantly lower than private colleges because it is a government institution.
The fees are paid to the KEA during the counselling process, and you receive an admission order to submit to the college. No additional fees for admission are to be paid directly to UVCE. The college website and admission process clearly state that all seats are allotted by the KEA and are based on merit.

Hello,
If you are seeking admission to UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bengaluru) via KCET in the SC category for 2024, the cutoff ranks differ by branch.
For students in the SC category pursuing Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), a rank of around 13,500 was typically required to obtain a seat. For Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), the final rank reached approximately 22,000, while for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), it increased to about 27,000.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) featured more lenient cutoffs, with ranks reaching beyond 65,000 in certain rounds. These figures are estimates derived from past round-wise cutoffs, and actual cutoffs may vary based on seat availability and the number of applicants.
Therefore, if your KCET rank is within these ranges, you have a decent opportunity to secure admission in UVCE under the SC quota.
Hope this helps. All the best!
The college timings at UVCE Bangalore can vary slightly depending on the specific department or program. However, here's a general overview of the typical schedule:

Additional Considerations:
Note: It's always best to check the official UVCE website or contact the college directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information on their timings. They may have specific announcements or changes to the schedule.
You Cannot Get Admission to UVCE with JEE Mains Score Alone
Unfortunately, you cannot secure admission to UVCE (University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering) based solely on your JEE Mains percentile of 91 because:
* UVCE primarily considers KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) scores for admissions to its undergraduate engineering programs.
* JEE Mains scores are not considered for direct admission to UVCE.
If you are interested in studying at UVCE, you should focus on preparing for the KCET exam. It is the primary entrance exam for admissions to government engineering colleges in Karnataka, including UVCE.
I hope this information helps.

Hello Aspirant,
It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in KCET 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for KCET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
However, on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have GOOD chances to get B M S College of Engineering Basavana Gudi, Bangalore because last year the closing rank in extended Round was around 61k for SC category .
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
