The Uttaranchal Institute of Management under the Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, to impart various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in commerce and management. The UIM offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes such as BBA, B.Com (Hons), MBA, and Ph.D. in Management on a merit basis. Generally, Uttaranchal Institute of Management admissions are declared a year prior toward the starting of the academic session around August-September. Uttaranchal Institute of Management admission to the BBA and B.Com (Hons) courses will depend on the qualifications in the entrance test (10+2). Afterward, the institute conducts interviews with all admitted candidates.
In postgraduation programmes, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Dehradun accepts scores from national entrance examinations like CAT, XAT, MAT, and CMAT for the MBA programme. The candidate's admission to the MBA programme will be on a composite score of the above-mentioned tests and undergraduate academic performance. Candidates who qualify for the Ph.D. programme in Management through UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or GATE-fellowship are exempted from taking the university entrance exam (UUEE) for admission and have to undergo interviews only.

For B.Com Hons, admission is preserved on a merit basis computed from the marks in the qualifying examination (10+2). The university then conducts interviews with all applicants before finalising admissions.

For MBA, the programmes offered cover areas including,
UIT admission will be based on scores/ranks obtained in national-level entrance tests, namely MAT, CAT, CMAT, or XAT and the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination.
Candidates qualifying through UGC-NET or CSIR-NET or having done GIATE (fellowship) will be exempted from UUEE and will need to take only an interview. All other candidates will have to qualify through an entrance exam and then by an interview before being considered for Ph.D. Management.

Teachers are friendly and explain everything related to subject and also clears doubts easily. As I am studying mangement teachers are well qualified and as unique way of teaching in their subjects. Overall good.
The facilities are so well educated and helpful in nature, They used to address all the doubts of the students inside the classrooms as well outside. The curriculum is well updated which provides good exposure to the students.
