hi sakshi
cutoff for general category students are quite high as compared to reserved category students. For vips main campus have very less or no chances for admission, though you may have to wait for the 3rd or 4th round of allotments.
Also it's very easy to predict college on careers360 by clicking on the
link mentioned below its very user friendly and very helpful

Hey Nikhil,
Your IPU CET rank 587 for BJMC is great. This rank is sufficient to get admission in Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Rohini for Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications
But there is a tough chance for you to get this college in 1st shift according to last year's cutoff
Hope this helps
Hey Ria,
Your IPU CET rank 1256 for BCA is good, but still not enough to get you in Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Rohini until 3rd round while there is tough chance to get it in the sliding round as the last year cutoff for sliding round closes around rank 1200
Still you can apply for Spot round that take place just after the admission process are done , it is conducted in first week of August and is at the main campus to fill the vacant seat
So finally there are good chances for you get admission in VIPS
Good luck
I see that you have got 4460 rank in IPUCET exam for bba course. It is a decent rank but not so good. You want to get into VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES. See previous year the closing rsnks were around 3900 for delhi region and around 4450 for outside delhi region. So if i see it and then your rank , you have a slight chance of getting into VIPS if and only if you are from outside delhi region.
As you have 80% in class 12th so you will be eligible under management quota. As every course has 10% reservation for it.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
Hi Candidate,
According to your rank it is possible for you to get a seat on Vivekananda institute of professional studies in BBA(Banking and insurance) course or BBA(second shift) in the round one of councelling as the rank range is from 9k-15k for the first course and 15k--22k for the second course. All the best
Hey Ayush,
Your IPU CET rank 1300 for BJMC is not enough for you to get admission in Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies and there is a also a tough chance to get admission in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies even in 2nd shift. But there are some other good colleges in which you can get into such as
Hope this helps
Hello Sanya!
VIPS is trying to get a NAAC accreditation but this might take a little longer, may be till 2020-2021. Till then VIPS is under the affiliation og GGSIPU.
Vivekananda Institute of professional studies and Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida are both considered respectable options for BBA in India.
VIPS in affiliated to a state university, located in Delhi, has well equipped infrastructure and well qualified and experienced faculty. The only thing it lacks is better placement opportunities.
Talking about Symbiosis international UNiversity Noida, It is a brilliant combination of academics and industrial exposure, decent placement opportunities, well qualified and respected faculty and well constructed infrastrcuctre . The only issue with it is its distance from Delhi since it is located in Noida.
Since both are good equivalently, the final decission should be yours to choose the one as per your convinience, biasness and other matterialistic considerations.
All the best!
Hello Sri!
Of the options mentioned above it is suggested to go for VIPS IP University particularly for BA LLB over the other two.
No doubt all the three options are reputed institutions but VIPS is better of all. Firstly it is affiliated to GGSIP University which is the state university of Delhi, secondly its central location in delhi, affordable fees structure, infrastructurally develpoed campus, student friendly environment, highly professional and qulaified faculty and not the last but good placement and internship opportunities make it a popular choice among law aspirants.
Both Bharatiya vidyapeeth Pune and NMIMS are in name for their management couses. Though other courses offered are good as well but specifically for law if you have a choice then VIPS should be on top of the three.
The final call should be yours. Hope this helps.
All the best!
Hello Hk, you have a very good rank in IPU CET and I will say this rank is still a dream for many out there. At that rank you are eligible for all the college under IPU and as per your question I will suggest to you to go for, MSI because I think it has a good placement than many other colleges. Goodluck.
This is one of the best college with one of the best infrastructure. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The rooms are fully air conditioned. The library is big enough and you’ll get almost every book you want from there.
The college equipment infrastructure technique and facilities are very good and has every basic equipment with labs sports centres but they does not provide living spaces but they also provide hygienic food
The college infra is very nice as there is also a new building that was set up. It has centralised ac and good digital tools. There are good projectors and the seats are nice. With good hygienic washrooms and the canteen is very nice.
