Dear aspirant, see there are lot of factors to be considered when you are selecting a 'good college'.Various factors such as placements, crowd, location, research opportunities , rankings , also scope of branch of your interest. You can use careers 360 tool for comparing these Colleges branch wise- https://dqxeclau.top/compare-colleges also if you are asking whether you can apply through jee marks then no. COEP doesn't accepts jee rank. You could specify more if you want to ask something different. Thank you.
If we compare COEP and VIT then VIT is regarded as a much better college. VIT* has been ranked among the top 20 Universities in the Country for the 4th time consecutively and in Engineering, VIT has been ranked 15 th in India. VIT has a great campus, good infrastructure and has a better placement record than COEP. COEP offers more learning based experience but placements are not as good as VIT.
There was a quota for applying through JEE mains in COEP but you need a very good percentile and it is advised to give MHTCET exam as all seats are reserved for Maharashtra students. You need at least more than 200 marks in MHTCET exam to get a seat in COEP.
