the placements are really good. Average salary is 3 LPA. The maximum salary is upto 12 LPA. About 70% of people were placed. The companies that come are tcs, wipro etc. The teacher guide us throughout this placement process.
The infrastructure is good. There are all the labs for engineering like physics lab, chemistry lab, graphics lab, mechanical lab etc. There is two floored library and the whole college is air conditioned.
I am studying BTech CSE. The quality of teaching is average. The course curriculum is updated with the latest syllabus. The course makes us job for future. Overall academics are fine if you self study and teachers are helpful if you approach them.
Placement cell is working fine. Average salary received is 3-4 lacs. But the lowest goes for just 10000-12000. The highest is around 13 lacs which is just fine. But you should not have any backlogs in any subject for placements.
Course cost per year is around 3 lac.
Campus life is fine with fests and carnivals going but no celebrity visits here.
Fully air conditioned classrooms and almost all places. There are two tier auditoriums( four). Apart from this the whole college is covered in lush greenery. We have library and laboratories. Overall infrastructure is good
I'm studying Bcom hons. The quality of teaching is really good. almost all of the facilities are chartered accountants. And have done PhD. The curriculum is updated according to current rules by government.
Placements scenario is fine for those who don't have backlogs in any subject in any semester. Otherwise faculty is very strict about backlogs and attendance. It's very necessary to clear backlogs to get degree and placements.
The course cost for whole year is around 130000 which is fine for a private university.
Campus Life is really good. We have fests and carnivals going on throughout the year. Also clubs and societies organise something or the other every week. Also commerce students have personality development session every week.
Yea we have all the necessary infrastructure. We have moot Court and separate library for law students. They are well maintained. Also fully air conditioned. There also cafeterias, dosa plaza and mess for hosetelers
I'm studying Bcom llb hons. We have all the required faculties and staff. Curriculum is well updated. Also there are debate contests and other moot Court contests. Overall it is a good choice to go for Amity for law.
Placements are just fine. Placements cell works well for law students. There seniors have got an average package of around 3 to 3.5 lacs. Overall almost everyone is placed who don't have any backlogs in any semester.
Course cost for the whole year is around 210000. It Is not really Cost effective since there are other govt colleges where you can get the degree with less cost. It's just worthy if we look at the infrastructure perspective.
Campus life is just amazing with really good crowd. And that's the only thing for which Amity is still alive. There are dj nights and fest. Also autumn carnivals has started from past year. It's really good.
We have awesome infrastructure with all the facilities of labs, library, sports complex. Its fully air conditioned. They are all well maintained. There are around 4-5 mess. Also a military training camp with tents and stuff.
I am persuing BSc physics hons. The quality of teaching is not really good. It all depends on self study. Curriculum is not updated as well. Its not making us job ready. Like you seriously need post graduation for job after this.
Placement cell doesn't work well for graduation in science. Average salary is around 2 lac per annum. In post graduation courses like MBA , highest salary go upto 15 lacs. And also for law placement cell works fine.
Course cost per year is around 120000. Looking at the infrastructure it is fine but not in terms of placements.
Campus life is good. There are lot of clubs and societies for dance, music, social activities, acting etc.
campus is really clean and beautiful. It has many plants which makes the environment green and beautiful. There is a central library which has many books. The computer labs has good connection of internet. The campus has AC.There are many cafeterias which have tasty food. There is sports complex and military camp also.
I am doing BCA,second year. The faculty are really good and experienced. They guide us throughout the programme and hence are very suppotive. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development in our fields. They also teach us behavioural and communcation skills which develops our personality.
Placements are not good from my point of view because my senior year friends are struggling to get placed.Only 10% of people where placed from campus.Companies like TCS and WIPRO come but they only placed 2 or 3 students.
Even though the academics is really good but the placements are not so good.So if you want to go for higher studies after BCA you can come here. But if you want do job then is college is not that good.
There are many cultural events and amifest. Our college also organizes dj nights every month. The staff is also very supportive. The college also has a medical room for emergencies.
The college campus is big and beautiful. It has many plants and trees which makes the environment both clean and beautiful. Since i am a hosteller i can assure you the hostel life is really good and safe here. There are many cafeterias which haave delicious food. The central library and labs are also very good.
i am studying bsc biotechnology from this university. the course is updated. THe faculties are really good and experienced. Most of the teacher are doctorate and they have good knowledge on thier subjects. They are also very supportive. Our curriculum also has many workshops that help in developing our personality.
the placement is upto 50-60 % but thats not a problem because only some students go for jobs the rest generally go for higher studies. But the faculty guides you how to get placements outside the campus or how to further continue in your career.
from my point of view it is worth it studying in this college as the cost is 1.5L per year but the college provides a lot of facilities along with academics like fest military training and sports complex.
inside the campus there are many events and activities. college also helds dj night in almost every month but the problem is that hostellers cant easily go out of the campus as there are many rules and regulations.
The university has amazing infrastructure with all the labs for every course. The most amazing place is library with the relaxing sofas and cubicles. It is two floored with escalators and lift facilities available. Here are around four cafeterias and apart from that we've deja brew, dosa plaza and CCD. And yeah, it fully AC campus.
I'm persuing B. com Hons. The quality of teaching is good if the student wants to study. Like faculities are very supportive for those who study. And for those who don't study, at the end of the day they also have to study because of 75% attendance criteria and college is really strict about attendance otherwise students get debarred from sitting in the examination and hardly anyone wants an year back in their graduation. Also, the curriculum is up to date and changes are also made accordingly.
The companies which come for placements are really good. For eg. Recently we've been offered a package of 15 lacs from De Shaw which is really difficult for students of graduation. But then, students are not serious about placements either because of higher education or personal reasons. Also, many students have backlogs which is not acceptable for placements. So if you want placements, just make sure you don't have any backlogs. Average salary offered is around 2.75 lac per annum for graduation
Course fee per semester is 65000 which makes 130000 per year and it is totally value for money because apart from studying own course, amity is also providing us with a foreign language which we've to choose and a minor degree in open elective. Also, there're behavioral sciences and communication skills workshops which make us job ready.
College is amazing. We've clubs like ek awaaz for theatre, saakar for social activities and other clubs for singing etc. For hostellers there are dj nights on fridays. The location is kind of away from highway which made me take away one star but its completely safe. Because there're security guards at all places in campus and also there're marshals at every floor in every block.
Dear Sadaf,
Yes I mean Amity University (especially Noida campus) offers decent LLB placements of Rs 5-6 LPA and top firms like Deloitte and Khaitan & Co recruiting.
Kolkata campus has lower placements. Good for private law college, but NLUs are better.
Ok then BEST OF LUCK!!!
Hi Aspirant
Amity University offers admission to BTech programs through two major pathways which are the Amity Joint Entrance Exam and JEE Main score submission The rank needed in JEE Main to secure a seat in Amity depends on several key factors including the year of admission the demand for the course the campus you choose and your category status such as General OBC SC or ST
In general Amity University is known for offering flexible admission policies and also has its own entrance exam for students who may not have a competitive rank in JEE Main However for students applying through JEE Main the university does consider your rank and percentile as part of their selection process especially for popular courses like Computer Science Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology
For the General category candidates a rank within the range of fifteen thousand to forty thousand in JEE Main is typically competitive for getting admission into high demand courses at the Noida campus This range is considered good enough to be eligible for merit scholarships as well The higher your rank the better your chances of securing a seat in core branches like Computer Science
For OBC category students the acceptable rank can go up to fifty thousand or slightly higher depending on the course and campus chosen Students from the SC and ST categories have additional relaxation in admission criteria and may secure admission even with a rank up to sixty five thousand or more for some branches and campuses
Students applying under the EWS category usually fall under similar consideration as the OBC group and a rank under fifty thousand may be sufficient for certain courses although more competitive branches like Computer Science still require better scores
Another important point is the availability of scholarships which is directly linked to your JEE percentile Students with ninety percentiles and above in JEE Main are often considered for tuition fee waivers ranging from twenty five to one hundred percent based on the percentile achieved The scholarship can be a major deciding factor for students and makes a strong JEE score valuable even if you are admitted without it being strictly required
Besides JEE rank students can also gain admission through their class twelve marks with an eligibility requirement of at least sixty percent aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics Some campuses and branches may require higher cutoffs depending on the demand
Amity also considers extracurricular activities and personal interviews for final admission decisions in some cases This means that even if a student's JEE rank is not very high they may still be offered a seat based on overall profile
In case you do not meet the cutoff for your desired branch in the first round it is advisable to consider applying for newer or related branches like Artificial Intelligence or Internet of Things as they usually have slightly lower cutoff ranks but are still in high demand.

Final-year students can apply provisionally, submitting degree proof by October 31. Specialized MBA programs (e.g., Data Science, IT) may require relevant degrees like Engineering or Statistics with 50% marks.
Entrance Exams : Valid scores from CAT (85 percentile), MAT (650 for Non-Sponsored, 600 for Sponsored), XAT (85 percentile), CMAT (200), GMAT (550), or NMAT (250 for Non-Sponsored) are required. Alternatively, candidates can take the Amity Written Test.
Selection Process : Shortlisted candidates undergo Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Some campuses may include essay writing to assess communication and analytical skills.
