What were the lease CAT scores that saw selection in IIFT (Delhi & Kolkata)

Since 2024, IIFT Delhi uses CAT scores for MBA (IB) admissions.

For the 2024-26 batch (CAT 2023 scores) , the expected lowest CAT percentiles for shortlisting were:

General: Around 96.7-98+ percentile (with specific composite and sectional cutoffs). Stronger profiles (e.g., female, non-engineer, work experience) could be shortlisted at slightly lower percentiles.
Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL: Around 90-97 percentile .
SC/ST/PwD: Around 75-95 percentile .

IIFT's final selection is holistic, considering CAT score (around 45-48% weightage) along with WAT, GD, PI, academic consistency, and diversity. Cutoffs vary yearly. Always check IIFT's official website for the most accurate and current information.

i have a doubt regarding the cat , fms , dse and iift forms where they ask about 12th score iam a cbse student and i got 11th 495 out of 500 and 12th 400 out of 500 both 11th and 12th that is the aggregate score of my intermediate of 89.5 percent and only 12th is 80 % what should i give 89% or 80 %

Okay, so you're a bit confused about what to put in those CAT, FMS, DSE, and IIFT forms regarding your 12th scores. Since you did CBSE, they usually only consider your final 12th standard marks.

Even though you did great in 11th, scoring 495 out of 500, for these entrance exam forms, they're specifically asking about your 12th board exam marks .You mentioned you got 400 out of 500 in 12th, which comes out to 80%.

Therefore, when filling out the forms for CAT, FMS, DSE, and IIFT, you should enter 80% as your 12th percentage. The aggregate of 11th and 12th isn't typically what they're looking for in these sections. They want to know how you performed in your final board exams. So, stick with the 80% from your 12th results. Good luck with your applications!

Iift kakinada is supported by iift delhi and the faculty is Experienced, High profile mostly are from iift delhi but kakinada placement is not as good as iift delhi you may get better placement opportunities in NMIMS, IMT, Ashoka School of Busines, Invicta shool of Business, etc.

Admission to IIFT Kakinada IPM is through IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore. A student who has passed 12th with atleast 60 per cent marks is eligible. The student must have 60 per cent in 10th. The student likely to appear in 12th are eligible.
