Hey Mudit! The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is an autonomous public business school established in 1963 by the Government of India to help professionalize the country's foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources; generating, analysing and disseminating data; and conducting research. You can check the below link for eligibility related information.

Hey Pragati.
Tge eligiblity criteria for admission through IIFT Entrance exam is to have a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognised institute with 50% marks in Graduation. There is 5 % relaxation in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates, hence they need 45% marks. As no relaxation in favour of OBC candidates is required, then you'd require a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in graduation.
Best of luck
hi newin!
your xat score is good but due to a lower percentage in 10th, 12th and btech, you may only get tier 2 collages .you may expect a call from tier 1 if you have one of the following, due to work experience or some great career achievement.
hopefully my answer helps
Hello aspirant. There is no prescribed age limit (upper or lower) and work experience by iift. Only minimum eligibility criteria is that you must hold a bachelor degree of 3 year duration with 50% marks. That's all. You are eligible. Go for it. All the best.
Regards
You should do Regular MBA because its more worth than weekend MBA , weekend mBA is just for degree there is no good in doing that , but you have 7 years of experience if you just want an add on certificate then its okay for weekend MBA and if you want a good job after that then you should sit for regukar MBA
To take admission in MBA in IIFT, it is not compulsory to have working experience. I have attached a link below for further reference. Hope this helps!

All the very best!

IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata are different. There is no pussyfooting about it. I shall attempt to elicit comparison from three different perspectives:
Academic Standpoint:
Both Delhi and Kolkata have a permanent faculty set based at either location. Essentially these 'home faculty' handle the majority of the core course curriculum. For certain courses some D-profs fly down to K and vice versa. In my time I recollect 7 courses being offered to Kolkata by 5 visiting members of the permanent Delhi faculty (Bear in mind there are around 63 total courses offered during the IIFT Program). Similiarly I can count atleast 4 Kol profs that visited Delhi for roughly the same number of courses. For courses taken by visiting faculty - as is the norm in most places - each college mines its visiting profs from quality instis that are geographically viable subject to the prof's willingness and availability. For example IIFT-K attracts profs from IIM-C, Calcutta University etc. Strictly in my opinion, I felt that the quality of lecturers across campuses was pretty much equal. Kolkata probably had the better Economics department, while Delhi had the edge in Finance. Now the coursework offered is similiar across campuses and the results for each trimester are also announced simultaneously. In my opinion the evaluation is generally a lot more lenient at IIFT-K. I don't recall a single fail grade being given despite some incredibly sub standard papers being turned in while the practice is commonplace in Delhi, culminating - in certain cases - even in detention(for an academic year). Effectively, IIFT-K students find it easier to get higher GPA's than their counterparts.
Campus Life/Quality of living
Delhi wins hands down here owing to the fact that they actually have a campus. You'll find the typical academic insti atmosphere in Delhi. i.e decent internet connection, buzzing campus even at 4am and an all night coffee station. Also better parties, booze sessions, fests, what have you.
Kolkata is based out of an office building, of which it operates from a sum total of 4 dedicated classrooms that are located on 2 floors. Of the 2 other floors occupied by IIFT- one is reserved for the staff and research students and the other houses a tiny library. The students of IIFT-K are split up into 4 hostels scattered around Salt Lake. The hostels themselves are passable by most standards - think bachelor apartments 2BHK buildings with each flat housing four inhabitants (2 per bedroom). While you do get a fridge and a TV per flat, gas connections and AC's are out of the question and not allowed. Electric stoves and kettles may be used by the students. Maintenance staff are hired that take care of the cleaning/washing etc. However only one of the hostels has a provision for a mess facility- and the food from this place is ferried to the other hostels. Which pretty much makes it inedible.
Draconian rules such as 11 pm curfew etc are employed and opportunities to fraternize with students outside of your hostel are logistically difficult, though not impossible. Given the constraints, organizing fests and events are near impossible, although the proximity of some of the hostel to a number of grounds opens up sport as an avenue to excise one's frustrations. It is expected that the new campus will be operational from June 2015, however the same refrain has been heard since 2008.
Placement Scenario
And now that you've scrolled all the way down here, I can finally give you the dirt you've been looking for. As of 2014, PFB the list of companies that completely, utterly exclude IIFT Kolkata students from their consideration set. Let me make myself crystal clear - despite whatever you read/hear about how people are trying to get them to reconsider etc. the fact remains that these companies will not so much as glance at an IIFT-K student's CV.
1. Cognizant Business Consulting
2. ITC
3. Mahindra & Mahindra
4. RPG Group
5. Cipla
6. Amazon
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade can enjoy nature's beauty in the campus. campus has many facilities like well maintained Gymnasium. You can find Organic Farming facilities and Rain water harvesting facilities also. Mess food is also good. The only problem is transportation, you can't Find Ola, Uber etc. Only Private cars arranged by nearby shops are available which is costly. But if you have your own automobile then you are at safe side.
The college has all the requiredinfrastructure relating to education present. This includes smart classes, tech enabled library, portals such as Bloomberg for research, a finance lab, conference halls, auditorium, and the like. The class are air conditioned and the entire college is WIFI enabled. The hostels are cleaned regularly and the food provided is nutritious and good at taste.
College infrastructure is best in india providing the classes , campus , hostel , playground, nice green environment to all the student to get best from the campus and learn the best from the peers in the campus or in the course.
