Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree, with First class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST).

IIT Bombay has the best facilities, so definitely its infrastructure is the best. Wi-Fi in labs and classrooms and LAN in hostels. There are about 3 libraries present here, all types of labs are available, and a sports complex is also there. The mess food quality is the best, and you also get all types of necessary medical facilities that we generally need.
