IGNOU aids the financially weak students in getting admission to different courses by providing the scholarship program. With this scholarship, students no longer need to worry about their financial circumstances affecting their students. Besides financially weak students, the IGNOU scholarship program is applicable for SC/ST students and for a single girl child to their parents.

The benefits from the IGNOU scholarship scheme are only applicable to academic programs/courses. So, the students must check the list of programs given below in this article. students enrolled in certificate/diploma programs are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

IGNOU Is Providing Scholarships Opportunities For The Impoverished Students,

Eliglibty :

1. Students of certificate/diploma programmes are not eligible for fee exemption scheme.
2. SC/ST applicants who are eligible and want to apply for Scholarship need to fill form online with soft copy of documents required for the claim. Students should attach a caste certificate issued by Central/State government’s authorized officer in the application form.
3. Students, who are enrolling simultaneously in a certificate level Programme along with an under-graduate programme, shall be eligible for fee exemption only in one programme.
4. The Scheme is not available for SC/ST students who are employed.
5. Students who are taking scholarship or exemption from other sources are also not eligible.
6. The Candidates Can Fill The Application Form Of The Scholarship From The Online Mode Of The University. Consequently, Candidates Need To Take Admission Into The College Into Some Of The Professional Or Else Technical Course. The Courses Should Be On The Fundamental Competitive Exam Based Which Is Mandatory To Get The Scholarship.
7. An undertaking to the effect that the candidate is not getting any benefits or scholarship from any other agencies or sources during the period of study is to be taken along with online applications.

IGNOU assignment submit receipts is given to the students for confirmation of assignments submission.if you got same receipt contact your regional center along with receipt and tell them about the issue you are facing.

Sometimes it takes time to update informaton on website so,dont worry you will get help by rc office.

Yes, students who want to appear in term end exam in December must submit assignment before due date.

List of assignments already available at IGNOUHELP.IN. Download your assignment from the link given on website for all the courses.

Due date is on 31st December please contact to your regional center for the date regarding date as it may change for different course.

The eligibility for the KVPY-SB examination:

An undergraduate  program in Basic sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S) in the academic year 2021-22 and secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in 1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Math./B.Stat./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.

So there are no conditions available for the distance education or regular students. As a result, the student who are studying the basic sciences in Open University then also you are eligible.

IGNOU exams are held in the college centers selected by you. They give you an option to select a center according to you.

You do receive study materials by them only. All you need to do is to submit assignments given by them.

The NIRF list (National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Education, Govt of India) contains the colleges in their list seeing various factors including the size of campus, its research options, its placements, its faculty, its students, its internship opportunities. So if your college in not in this list, you need not to worry much. Your college is much better than its looks.

IGNOU Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates are recognized by all member universities of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and are at par with Degrees/Diplomas/ Certificates of all Indian Universities/Institutions, as per UGC Circular letter No. F.

1. Attending classes is not compulsory. Classes are held on weekends and holidays.
2. For December/January session, you have to submit the assignments by 30th September at your study center. You can prepare your assignments using the material provided by IGNOU.
3. Then you have to fill the exam form for the subjects you wish to write the exams for. You can write any number for that particular year. For a Masters's degree, the minimum period is 2 years and the maximum is five.
4. Write the exam and get the result.
5. Repeat for the next year
6. you need to register with fees before the start of the semester which is held in January and July.

   Depending on your program you will have to go to the study center for classes and submit an assignment for the subjects. In some programs, you have to Viva for Assignment and practical. Only students who have submitted assignments can appear for the exams. Exams were held in June and December.

   You will get the results in a Month. After you pass out you will behave to fill up the form for convocation( along with fees) to choose you want to appear for convocation personally or you want it by post.
