Hope you are doing well, here is the information about JMI entrance exam.

• JMI gives admissions for the aspirants of BA LLB, BBA, BA. Hons English, BA. Hons Economics, B.Com Hons, B.Sc, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc Hons. Physics, B.Sc Hons. Chemistry, B.Sc. Hons. Mathematics.
• JMI has released the application forms on March 14, 2019, and the last date of submitting application forms is April 12, 2019. You can fill up the application in the JMI website.
• The mode of application is online.
• It is also available to write the exam offline from June 12 to June 29, 2019. And they are conducted in seven cities in India and they can be seen once the admit cards are out.
  
• The duration of the exam is 1hour 45 minutes

It is a bit difficult to predict the percentile on the basis of jee mains score.Also, this marks is not enough to get admission in JMI with any branch as the cutoff of this college is usually high every year.

Since you have done your study in Biology which is a part of Science, then yes you are eligible to study Chemistry, but you will have to start from the basics and even take a few extra classes to cover up.

JMI is a central university that provides courses like BSc, B.Tech, BE, Diploma, MSc, M.Tech and various other subjects like this. It does not provide any course for 9th class or upto 10th class. If you want to study in this university then you have to clear your 10+2 or 12th class with minimum 50% of mark. Then there are various courses in which you can study. The selection is mainly based on the merit list which will be made by the university. 

For your information I am providing the courses in which you can take admission after your 12th.

So 1st of all you have to study hard so that you can get a good mark for which you will not be out of the merit list to get admission.

Allow me to help you out with this.

You may be referring to BSc Bioscience at JMI, Delhi.

The entrance exam for the same is to be held on June 14th, 2019.

The paper will be in online mode.

The entrance test has a duration of 105 minutes which is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The maximum marks for the paper will be 100 marks.

With each correct answer, you will obtain 1 mark and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Now, the kind of questions that will make up the paper are 

1. Objective- Fill in the blanks

2. Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs)

2. Practical Question- Application-based. For Example, a situation or experiment will be explained and questions need to be answered according to the outcomes of the same.

The syllabus for the paper is as follows,

1. Biological Sciences- 50 marks

2. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics- 50 marks.

The topics for the above will be taken from 11th and 12th Science textbooks as prescribed by the CBSE Board in India i.e NCERT textbooks.

Do not forget to carry your calculator for the exam. It is allowed. 

These are important points to remember with regard to the entrance test-

• Questions will be theory based, therefore, a strong base would help you crack the exam easily.
  
• Practice is of paramount importance. Practice papers can be found online or at a bookstore near you. Practice will only help you become accurate and take the least amount of time to do so.
  

The results of the test should be out between 30 June and 5 July, 2019.

The entrance test for BSc ( Hons) Physics for Jamia millia islamia admissions 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on  9th june 2019 from 9 am to 10:45 am.
The rank list is tentatiely scheduled to be published between 30th june to 5th july 2019.
The eligiblity for BSc Physics is that the candidate must have qualified class 12th examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of physics chemistry and maths and also in the ndivisually 50% in physics.
