humaatufa21 , Both are good colleges but if we select one then I should prefer NIT Hamirpur because it has median salary package was  about 6.5 lakh but the ees is high approx 7.3 lakh but in Jamia millia islamia  fees is less about 3.2 lakh means half but the median salary package was about 4.8 lakh.

So both are good only select on the basis of fees otherwise both are best.

Jamia Millia Islamia or JMI made the application form available for btech admissions on February 21st, 2020. The final date of submission of the application was September 14th, 2020. The correction window dates are yet to be notified. The release of rank list dates are yet to informed as well.

The Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam application forms have been released online on the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia on February 21, 2020. Candidates who are interested to get admission in Jamia are advised that the last date to submit the JMI entrance exam application form was extended to September 14, due to the coronavirus outbreak and the extension of the lockdown. The Jamia Millia Islamia has released the JMI Entrance Exam schedule and the national-level entrance exam will be conducted from October 10, 2020, onwards and will carry on till November 22, 2020. The admit card for each course will be released one week before the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted.

JMI Entrance Exam Dip. (Engg.) for the year 2020 has been announced by Jamia Millia Islamia University and will be held on 08/11/2020. The application forms will be available from 21/02/2020 till 14/09/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. It is being conducted in English, Hindi and Urdu languages. The result date will be announced later.

i suggest you keep checking the cutoff of  previous years so that will give you a rough idea if you will get your your desired branch or not . Usually the entrance exams for UG courses are mainly based on plus two syllabus. So you should stick to the basics. Also please check the previous year question papers if available. You can crack it if you prepare well. Know your subject well and go for it. Workout the sample and previous year question papers. All the best.
