The admission procedure for B.A. (Hons.) Humanities & Social Science course in Jamia Millia Islamia Central University is as follows :-

1. To register for admission, you need to visit : www.jmi.ac.in (http://www.jmi.ac.in)

2. Submission process of the online application includes two phases -

(a) Candidate’s Registration : where you are required to fill-up your Basic Profile details and,

(b) Entrance Application Submission : where you will need to choose the program(s) i.e. B.A. (Hons.) Humanities & Social Science, then Category i.e. SC(Hindu) and submit the Entrance Application Fee.

3. While Registration, the following requirements should be available with you:

-A valid and easily accessible Email Id.

-A soft copy of your recent colored passport size photograph (Max.100KB in size) in JPG/JPEG format with White Background.

-A soft copy of your signature (Max.100 KB in size) in JPG/JPEG format.

4. You are suggested to cross-check the correctness of entries filled by you before final submission of the online form using preview option as use can edit the particulars before completing the registration process. Later, corrections can be made only when the correction window opens.

5. After successfully submitting your registration particulars, you will be sent an email bearing the Unique CODE by the system with a link to verify your registered email account. Right after link verification, you need to log-in to your account using your log-in ID and password and proceed to apply for the program of your choice and pay the applicable entrance application fees.

You can pay this fee online using your Credit Card/ Debit Card / Net Banking service .

Note that : An aspirant is allowed to submit only ONE form for each program  (With Combined Entrance Test). Multiple submissions of form for the same program by an aspirant may result in rejection of his/her candidature.

-You are not eligible for 10% reservation provided to OBC-NCL and SC category holders as it is applicable only for candidates belonging to Muslim minority.

- You are suggested to go once through the Final JMI Prospectus 2020-21 available on its official website carefully before filling up your online application form.

Remember that last date for filling up the application form has been extended upto May 4th, 2020. So, don't wait for the last minute.

JMI Entrance exam 2020 registration is going on and the last date for filling the JMI application form 2020 is 04 May, 2020. This is extended date by the university. The date of Application correction, Admit card release and date of Exam has not been notified by th university.

You will have to apply and appear for entrance examinations conducted by the Jamia Millia Islamia University for admissions to various courses which are offered by the university at the undergraduate level. There are no UG courses where you can get direct admissions on the basis of your class 12th boards marks/percentage.

Yes, you surely can. Jamia Millia Islamia University provides a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has great advantages of the same which is great exposure in terms of industry relation. You can get placed at a great/decent package through campus placements provided by Jamia to its students. The highest package any student of Diploma from Jamia has recieved was of 70 Lakhs per annum, offered by a US based Firm. You can prepare for it by revising all concepts of class 6-10th level and also touching a basic level of class 11th science subjects. That would be good, also appear for a lot of mocks and you would be well prepared for the test. The admission forms are available please fill the form as soon as possible.

see in official prospectus of jamia milia islamia nothing is mentioned about changing of centre, however exam centres is allocated in specific number of places and you have choices to choose among them, due to covid 19 pandemic it might occurs some issues, but the examinations will not take place until every thing is fine, you may contact with exam control authority in below address relating your issues,

The last date for JMI 2020 application form submission has been extended to May 4 due to COVID-19 outbreak by Jamia Millia Islamia .

Earlier, before the extension , last date to fill the application form of JMI 2020 was 15th April .

The JMI application form was released by Jamia Milia Islamia on 21st February , 2020

Yes, the online filling of admission/registration forms of all the UG and PG programmes of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi have been further extended till 4th May 2020 as informed in a notice dated 15th April 2020.
