Hi Hami,

The application of Jamia Milia Islamia University will start from second week of March 2020 for both UG & PG programmes.

Registration closes in last week of April 2020 for both UG & PG programmes.

Admit card will be released in the third week of May 2020 both UG & PG programmes.

Exam will be conducted in second to fourth week of June 2020 for UG programme and third week of May 2020 for PG programmes.

Last date of giving result by the university will be in third week of September 2020 for both UG & PG programmes.

NOTE :- These are only probable dates please wait for official notification from JMI University itself. Don't panic, we will inform you as soon as the registration starts till then , STAY TUNED.

The online registration for JMI entrance exam will be released in the first week of February. The admit cards will be issued in the second week of April. The entrance exam will be conducted in the month of May. The eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates. This must be given utmost priority. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to various undergraduate programmes such as Engineering,  architecture, hospitality, humanities , social sciences, etc.

Jamia Millia Islamia University does not offer three years Law programme. It offers only 5 years Integrated law programme & LLM Post Graduate programme.

JMI BA LLB  is conducted by  Jamia Millia Islamia University  every year for students who want to pursue law as a career option in the institution.

To be eligible for JMI BA LLB, students are required to meet certain eligibility criteria.

They should have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

General category candidates must not be more than 20 years. Reserved category candidates such as SC/ST,  OBC and should not be more 22 years.

Both Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia stands on equal position.

Both the colleges are good for pursuing BA courses.

In technical courses then jamia milia islamia University Delhi is more good.

But for BA both the colleges provide quality education.

Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) is a public central university located in Delhi. It was established in the year 1920 and received the status of Central University in 1988. At present, it offers various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma and M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in different disciplines.

1. Admission to BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BA-LL.B, BHM, BPT, B.Li.I.Sc, BFA, BTTM and B.Ed courses is offered on the basis of a valid score in JMI entrance test followed by an interview
2. A valid rank in KEE Main is the primary requirement to secure admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
3. JMI also offers BDS program for which candidates have to qualify in MEET UG (https://exams.collegedunia.com/neet) conducted at all India level.
4. MA, M.Sc, M.Com, LL.M, MFA, M.Ed, M.Li.I.Sc and MPT admissions are granted through an entrance test conducted by JMI and Interview.
5. Jamia (JMI) also offers admission to M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Arch courses through its own entrance test.
6. Candidates have to qualify in the Written Test and Interview to secure admission in M.Phil & Ph.D. programs.

Your expected rank is around 1,52,546. The formula used for calculating the rank is : (100- your score)*869010/100. It's a bit difficult to get into the college with this rank. Had it been around 80k then you would surely be admitted. The cutoff and marks changes every year so you need to keep an eye on that.

Faculty of law offers BA LLB, LLM and PG Diploma courses to the candidates.JMI also offers P.hd/M.Phil in law.

The eligibility to get the admission in this course is To get admission to LLM and PG diploma is done through an entrance examination which is conducted by the university and personal interview. It requires minimum 50% Marks in bachelors degree.

Jamia Milia Islamia is a central institute. It conducts exams of diploma courses like bachelors in elementary education in hindi and urdu, masters in hindi and urdu in their respective languages and masters in mass communication in urdu along with English.
All other subjects entrance is conducted in English.
