Whether you get admission in JNU college or not depends upon in which stream or Subject you want to do masters.Like
1-for MA in Politics/English/ Linguistics/ German/ Arts & Aesthetics the eligibility criteria is to get 50% in graduation.
2-MA in Geography/Sociology/Sanskrit the eligibility criteria is to get 45% in graduation.
3-MA in Economics the eligibility criteria is to get 50% in graduation.
4-MA in Political Sciences/Philosophy the eligibility criteria is to get 50% in graduation.
5-M.Sc the eligibility criteria is to get 55% in graduation.
6-MCA the eligibility criteria is to get 55% in graduation.

The admission test will carry a total of 100 marks with the unit wise marks assigned and coverage of topics is as follows:
Unit I is for 60 marks and covers topics like:
1. Geomorphology, climatology, oceanography and biogeography.
2. Human geography, economic geography, political geography, Population geography, human ecology and human settlements.
3. Regional geography of India- physiographic divisions, patterns and levels of development of agriculture and industries, growth of population, urbanization, and socio-culture diversity.
4. Geographical information System, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Quantitative Techniques/Statistics.
Unit II is for 20 marks and covers Questions on Physical, human regional geography and geography of India.
Unit III is for 10 marks and covers Questions on Cartography, scale and map projections, topographical maps of India, Methods of data representation
Unit IV is for 10 marks and covers Question on Statistical Methods – frequency distribution, measures of central tendency and dispersion, Correlation.

the basic eligibility criteria for admission in m.a courses in jnu you need to appear in entrance test, the candidate who are from economics or mathematics background, need to have 50% marks in graduation along with mathematics as a subjects in 10+2 course, however sc/st category students may apply if they passed the graduation exam with qualifying marks, for obc students 40% marks in graduation needed, there is no certain marks criteria for sc./st students.
candidates who are from any other Bachelor’s degree need 60% marks in aggregate) with Economics and Mathematics as subjects in graduation level. category wise criteria is also applied here.

I would like to inform you that for clarification, the eligibility is that aspirant must have Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics with atleast 55% marks. Candidates having majored in Physics or Chemistry should have had Mathematics atleast up to the Bachelor's level. Candidates majoring in Chemistry should have specialized in Physical Chemistry/Chemical Physics at the M.Sc. level. Exceptions can be made in case of applicants with a B.Tech. (Electronics/Electrical) degree provided they successfully compete in our entrance examination. You can use the link given below for reference-:
