Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducts JNUEE, an entrance exam for admission in various courses such as MA in History, etc. The cutoff percentile varies every year. Candidates are admitted after a counselling session conducted by the institute. MA in psychology isn't offered by the institute.

Sorry to say but there are no post graduate course for Master's in Psychology in JNU. Although you have an alternate option to apply in Delhi University. DU offers a large number of colleges in which you can carry on your course.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) offers various courses (for science background students) such as :

1. B. Tech in ECE, Mechanical and computer science and engineering
2. MCA
3. MSc in Physics
4. M. Tech in Computer science and technology, statistical computing, nanotechnology, nanoscience
5. B. Sc in computer science and other streams

The students can apply for the exam JNUEE for the admission in the University. The institute releases a merit list and a counselling session on the basis of which the students can get admitted to the courses.

Sorry to say but JNU Delhi don't offer BA Hons. in English.
Infact the College don't offer any graduation level science and humanities courses however it offer almost every course in MA ,MPhil and Phd level.

The Jawaharlal Nehru University is situated in New Delhi and it does provide a B.A. {Hons.} course. it is  a three-year UG course for Rs. 971 total fees. For admissions, you need to first pass 12th standard with at least 45%. Then, you need to clear the entrance test of the institute. You should score at least 30% in the entrance test for admissions to the institute.

The mode of admission for JNU is:

  • One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.
  • Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round.

If you have taken BSc in Chemistry then only you can do Msc in Chemistry.

In DU, you can take admission and if you have any reservation then that would be more smooth way to get an admission.

in BHU, you are eligible. You have to pass the entrance test for MSc and get an admission.

In JNU, the eligibility percentage is 55% which makes you not eligible.

Yes, you can do Masters from JNU anytime you wish if you have a graduation degree. Applying for masters in JNU does not have any agebar, you can do it as and when required.  Just prepare well for the entrance exam and you got it.

You can refer books from Arihant Publications and also you can update your G.K. by just watching news for sometime.

It's not that tough, I am sure you will be be able to clear the exam and pursue your masters.

No, Master of arts(MA) in education course is not provided by JNU. There are many other courses in master of arts is available and provided by JNU but MA in education is not provided. You can try for any other course or else you can search for any other University provides it.

JNU offers decent academic infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a central library, language labs, and good internet connectivity. While some buildings feel old, greenery and open spaces make it pleasant. For BA French, the School of Language facilities are well-equipped, fostering a comfortable learning environment. Maintenance could be more consistent in hostels.
