Infrastructure of Jawaharlal Nehru University is superb, massive facilities, wifi speed is very good the food in the mess have good quality cleanliness in the mess is very much cleaned and we all study a lot.
The faculties of Jawaharlal Nehru University are just superb, they all are high in nos. Well educated nice placement and about development we have got many internship gotten.the road of jnu is also so neat and clean.
About the placement the placement are very well 90/100 will get the placement and about the placement in the good company examples of the placement company are Microsoft, Google, TCS, Infosys, apple, wipro.
The infrastructure of JNU is good , You can check the signature buildings of JNU online also. JNU has well established labs. One should not face any difficulty in their lab work due to lack of equipment or material required. JNU is know for its research.
The professors are very good. JNU is the premier University in India. They are highly qualified . They are very kind and polite towards their student. You are free to ask any type of questions that you want to ask .
Though there are things need to improve because many of the students are either in Master or PHD, but for undergrad University is trying their level best to give maximum opportunities to the students that they can provide.
Everyone knows , i don't think that i should explain this.
JNU is spread over 1000 acres in South Delhi . JNU has vibrant culture. you have every right to express yourself whatsoever you think. No one is going to judge you. For girls JNU is the safest place.
Infrastructure is very good high-class facility AC in classroom. Infrastructure of the main building and teaching building is very good also there are many departments such as office of career services et cetera there are others like the hostel building.
Teachers are very well educated and academics is very high quality we have a lot of credits to complete every year and also in the whole semester there for it can be a bit of a burden in the top branches.
One of the best colleges in India so placements are very good with high packages. Over 60 students had one crore package this year a lot of students get placed in very good companies. There for the overall placement rate is also high.
College has all the necessary infrastructure. Labs are well equipped and air conditioned. Library has vast range of books. Whole campus has WiFi. Campus is generally clean and food is hygienic. There are various facilities like gym, playground, sports equipment etc. Both AC and non-ac rooms with 1/2/3/4/6 bed available.
All teachers have PhD. They know the content very well. But sometimes they are not able to explain it to students properly. Teachers clarify doubts whenever asked. Curriculum is good and updated. To be job ready, students need some extra practice beyond curriculum syllabus
Placements Placements are good. Every year more than 5500 students register for on-campus placements and more than 700 companies visit. Average CTC is around 7 LPA and around 20 percent of students get CTC of more than 10 LPA. Placement process is smooth and college is helpful during it.

Almost everyone who opts for placement is placed in sectors ranging from core to non-core, from consulting and finances to the technical and analytics. Many students opt for higher studies and most get admissions at top universities in and around the world like the Ivies. The startup culture is also making its way with 4 startups from the 2019 batch of biotechnology alone. The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA-6 LPA
Can't say for other depts but Life Sciences does have almost all the required facilities. Availability of equipment in individual labs varies according to individual funds of the lab. Maintenance can be better.
Curriculum is good. Most professors update study material regularly but some black sheep are always their. Professors are very knowledgeable without a doubt but imparting of that knowledge leaves something to be desired.
I did not see any placement drives organized in the department itself throughout the time I was there but the placement is through placement cell of JNU. Recently there was a call for placements in IFAS.
For the value paid, the facilities are most definitely good as is in any central university. I don't remember the exact amount but around 25,000 a year for a student staying in hostel would be the total of everything paid including the school fee.
Social culture is definitely good. People are free to express themselves without the fear of judgement. Many different events are organized regularly from cultural to scientific to athletic. Definitely safe for women. Only about 500-600 m distance from a munirka market and a mall near the west gate.
Being there is definitely an experience in itself. A very diverse group of people from every part of India to international students attend so exposure to different cultures is great. Great for extroverts and introverts alike.
Infrastructure is unique and every building is beautiful. Facilities provided by the university is amazing. Food varies from hostel to hostel and cleaning varies as well. But where I stayed it was really clean and hygienic.
The teaching is high quality, always pushing is to know the recent advances in our field. As I did M.Sc in Life sciences, we use to have paper presentations and assignments which involved recent studies and techniques.
Placements are not there in my department. But mostly everyone qualifies further exams and get selected in higher institutions. So in terms of job, no there is no placement. But for other departments like language and engineering, the placement rate is quite high.
My course doesn't cost too much. Let's say the only expanditure is food and hostel rent. If we consider only mess fees than that's also nominal. Yes everything is worth and beyond the money factor. It's definitely worth it.
Campus Life is the best. I can't describe it in the words. So many memories with the people I met. It a growing and learning process. Campus itself is so beautiful with the nature around you. Every season changes the way campus looks and it's just amazing. Not just the season but from the morning to night you can experience different life on a single day. A beautiful and peaceful one.
I love my campus. The place is beautiful but the people you meet there make your journey more beautiful ❤️
Library is good having all the book that are required for course.however no of books are not sufficient. Wifi connection is also good. Hostel are clean and in good condition.Food are also hygenic. Lab are also good.
Sls has wide course structure. This somehow create a burden on masrer student. M.Sc lab neeed to be updated . Curriculum of sls is good but it needed to be updated like it should include stress physiology in its course.
Jnu have any placement cell. However sls is more oriented toward research rather than job. So it doenot provide any job. If you are interested in job you can join any biotech company after completing master.
Jnu being a central university has low fee structure. The course fee and hostel rent is also low. Mess range ariund 2500-3000. Overall it is not that costly so, i feeel that my mpney is getting worth.
Campus of jnu is beautiful with greeeny. It have dhabas which is cost efficient and various prog that provide exposire to student. It is safe for women even in night also. It hase a market that generallly contain all the things that you required.
I would give 3 star. Jnu is a nice campus where uou can explore more. It has all the facilities that you neewd in daily basis. Hostel and mess food bith are goood.
A good plateform for Masters in Life Sciences. The environment, fundings infrastructure all are good. WiFi, smart Boards and other all are available. All the fixings and assets are available in labs. Maximu labs having good funding from DBT and others.
All professors give their best tò develop research interests in students. Yes, most of us are qualified GATE and JRF exams with good remarks. That have value in market just becasuse of finely designed curriculum.
MSc got job as Junior research fellows and most of Ph.D candidate join as RA in foreign universities. News related to placements and joing are given by institute timely. Most of the students got placements.
420 ruppee only per year, 210 rupee per semester. Even this fee is very less for what we get from SLS,JNU.
Safe and good campus life. Gives us global touch .
All the necessary infrastructure facility is there campus is very clean.hostel life is just lit 24 hours hostel u can enjoy night outs over here this place is a heaven next level enjoyment full too masti
The quality of teaching is average in life sciences but the lap work is worth it. There is a dissertation period as well but the professors are not good but gentics and some other professors are lit ?asf
There are as such no placements in the department or there are very less Placmemts. Phd u have to go for but u cannot have a placement in Msc. There are no opportunities as such for the Msc students at present
Hello
The cutoff for BA (Hons) Persian at JNU for this year is 85% for General , 82.8% for OBC, 74.1 for SC, 65.9% for ST and 33.2% for PWD students. So, basically the cutoff varies according to the category.
As your score is 44%, it is difficult to get admission at JNU but if you belong from the categories mentioned above that offer the course at your score , you will get the admission at JNU .
Hope this helps.
All the Best.
Hello student,
To pursue an MA in Political Science and International Relations (PSIR) at JNU, you should first focus on understanding the entrance exam syllabus and pattern, then work on strengthening your knowledge of political theory, Indian politics, and international relations.
Additionally, you should build your general knowledge and stay updated on current affairs.
Tip: Practice with past papers and develop strong writing skills for the exam and potential essay-based questions.
JNU uses the CUET PG exam for admissions to the MA PSIR program. You'll need to register and appear for the CUET PG and potentially meet any specific subject test requirements outlined by the university.
Here's a article showing fees, exam and seats available for the course political science and international relations:

Thank you!!
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you have a decent chance to get admission in JNU MA Political Science course with 89 marks in CUET PG Political Science and ST category. JNU follows reservation policies strictly and cut offs of ST are much lower than General/OBC categories. The trouble comes in final selection as the number of applicants and seat depends on that specific year of applicants and cut off for each category. Keep an eye on JNU's official website for cutoff updates and counselling schedules.
