Yes, Delhi University (DU) offers a B.Com (Hons.) program through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). For the 2025–26 admission cycle, DU has updated its eligibility criteria for B.Com (Hons.), making Mathematics or Applied Mathematics mandatory for all applicants. Previously, students could apply with Accountancy or Bookkeeping as an alternative, but this option has been removed
Hello there,
Delhi University (DU) does not currently offer a B.Com (Hons.) degree specifically in FinTech. However, DU provides a Certificate Course in Applied Financial Technology at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, which focuses on financial technology skills.
For admission to B.Com (Hons.) at DU through CUET, the required subject combinations include:
Any one language from List A
Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Accountancy/Bookkeeping
Two additional subjects from List B1 or B2
These subjects align with core commerce topics like Mathematics and Accountancy.
If you want a degree specifically in FinTech, consider other universities offering such programs, for example:
BBA in FinTech (Honours) at Christ University, NCR Campus
B.Com in FinTech & Blockchain Technologies at Teerthanker Mahaveer University
B.Com (Hons.) in FinTech with AI at Alliance University, Bangalore
These programs are designed to provide skills in financial technology and related areas.
In summary, DU does not have a B.Com (Hons.) FinTech degree, but you can pursue a certificate course there or opt for specialized FinTech degrees from other institutions.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
