Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautical Engineering is a full-time four-year (8 Semesters) course approved by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai and AICTE.

Aeronautics is the design of vehicles and structures that interact with air, with application to aircraft and other flight vehicles. Internationally thriving aeronautical industry and limited human resource is an opportunity for the future engineers. Growing demands for unmanned aerial vehicles in various application areas open the opportunity with higher pay for graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

1- A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).

2- Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March / April / May can appear for VTUEEE.

3- For the purpose of consideration for award of the Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship, the state from which the candidate has studied and appeared for the qualifying examination (12th standard examination of the State or Central Board) will be taken as the state to which the candidate belongs, even though the nativity of the candidate may be another State or Union Territory.

Direct Admission- 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by any State Board, Central Board of Higher Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi); The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi); National Institute of Open Schooling; Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board / University; High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or equivalent.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good. All the classrooms, laboratories and library are very well equipped. The library is wifi enabled. Everything is well maintained and all the living spaces are kept clean.
