Few companies keep a bar on gap in education and few other companies does not keep a bar on gap in education. The permissible gap in between may vary in between 1-2 years depending on the company. The eligibility criteria for MBA in BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore is mentioned below :

A candidate who has passed Qualifying Examination i.e., any Recognised Bachelors Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50 % of (for General Merit Candidates) marks taken together in all the subjects including language in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to full time MBA course. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category I of Karnataka Candidates) (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates).

Admission in based on rank secured in KMAT,MAT  or CMAT.

Yes some engineering colleges take admission based on management quota where your rank and marks doesn't matter and you get admission based on the donation you give to the college.However the intake of students for any college depends completely on the admission administrative and are a subject to change.So it would be better if you contact the administrative of the college based on the availibility of management quota and they will tell you the charge they are taking this year for donation.
