Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out. With 86 percentile in MHT CET and being an SC category student, your chances for COEP Pune (College of Engineering Pune) are not guaranteed, but they are not impossible either. COEP is one of the most sought-after government engineering colleges in Maharashtra and tends to have high cutoffs, especially for branches like Computer Science and Electronics.

However, since you are from the SC category, you benefit from reservation, and depending on your Home University region and gender female candidates get an additional relaxation, you may get a chance in branches like:

Civil Engineering,Instrumentation or Metallurgy and Production Engineering

Participate in all rounds of CAP counselling and fill your preference list wisely. Keep checking official cutoffs.

Best wishes!

With a 91.16 percentile in MAH MBA CET 2025, you have a good chance of securing admission in decent MBA colleges in Maharashtra. While top institutes like JBIMS or Sydenham may be out of reach, colleges such as PUMBA, SIES, Chetana’s, MET, and DY Patil are realistic options. Among these, PUMBA offers the best return on investment with a low fee structure and an average package of around 6–6.5 LPA. Other colleges typically offer packages in the 3.5–5.5 LPA range. Since you plan to take a loan, choosing a college with low fees and strong placement support is important. Make sure to register and participate in all CAP rounds and prioritize your college options carefully. With the right choice and consistent effort during your MBA, placements are definitely possible.

If the child has not appeared for JEE/ MHT CET then there is many private engineering colleges resevers seat for direct addmission under the institute level or mangement quota. Candidates who have not appeared for JEE/ MHT -CET can still participate in counselling process based on their 12 th marks.

With an SC category rank of 123 in SVNIRTAR CET 2025, you have a very strong chance of getting admission into the BPT course at SVNIRTAR, as previous SC cutoffs have been much lower, often closing beyond rank 700. SVNIRTAR offers reserved seats for SC candidates, and your rank places you well within the likely selection range. Make sure to complete all counselling steps on time.

Hello

With a 65 percentile in CET under the SC category, you may have a chance to get admission into a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) course in some government or private colleges, depending on the cutoff trends in your state. However, admission chances will vary based on the availability of seats, state quota, and specific college cutoffs. It's recommended to check with the official counselling portal of your state and consider applying to multiple colleges to improve your chances.

Hello,

If you had Biology in 12th and not Maths, but studied PCMB till 11th, and now want to give only Maths exam from NIOS, then yes, you can do that. But you will get two separate mark sheets – one from your regular board (for PCB) and one from NIOS (for Maths).

For MHT CET , this is usually accepted as long as you have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as separate subjects and have valid certificates. But you must check the official MHT CET brochure of that year to confirm, as rules may change.

So, yes, two mark sheets are generally accepted, but final confirmation depends on MHT CET rules of that year.

Hope it helps !

Hello Aspirant,

Normally the period between the final merit list and option filling for MHT CET (PCM) can be anytime between 01 to 03 days. It is important for candidates to check the official CET (https://cetcell.mahacet.org/) Cell website on a regular basis, this will give the candidates an idea of when option filling will begin, all options are based on the official CET Cell schedule since it may vary from year to year. Have your documents, your preferences of college available before the window to fill options opens up; it is brief and will matter for allotment.

good afternoon, with a 45,000 rank in MHT CET PCM, you're likely in the 60–69 percentile range, which opens doors to several decent engineering colleges across Maharashtra. You may not land in the top-tier institutes, but there are still solid options worth considering.

Here are some colleges that have previously accepted ranks around 45,000:

CSMSS Chh. Shahu College of Engineering    Aurangabad    Computer Science

Sanghavi College of Engineering    Nashik    Computer Engineering

Matoshri College of Engineering & Research    Nashik    Mechanical Engineering
