it typically considers both the entrance exam score and the aggregate percentage of 10th and 12th class for admissions. The cutoff scores to get into mht cet vary each year based upon the factors such as number of applicants and available seats.

Based on your scores, cet is in your reach and you can apply for admission in it by visiting their official website -

hello aspirants,

It's challenging to predict your BVP CET branch with precision. For formal information on cut-offs and counselling procedures, consider getting in touch with the BVP CET admissions department. Depending on your rank, they might be able to offer you more detailed instructions.  But given your rank (1189), CSE might be difficult. Examine career paths with historically lower cut-offs, such as IT, ECE, ME, or CE.

hope this helps you!

It is impossible to predict with certainty if your score of 71.39% will earn you a seat in Computer Science (CS) at COEP, particularly for the ST category.

Using your MHT CET score, category, and past year's trends, use our College Predictor tool (https://dqxeclau.top/college-predictor) to receive a personalised prediction of colleges and branches you might have a chance of getting into.

Hello Aspirant,

See there is no 100% accurate method to calculate rank from percentile but if we go through previous years trends than on such percentile your rank is expected in the range of 53,000 – 59,000 . Note that this is not your exact rank because it might have slight variations to the actual rank.

You can check out complete details about Percentile Vs Rank and cut-off for different colleges in MHT CET from the links given below :-

On such rank and category it's quite difficult to get seat in any government college through MHT CET Counselling because if we go through last year's data then it shows that last year the minimum percentile required for government colleges were around 90-95+ percentile.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your percentile and category you can use MHT CET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Good Luck!!

It's possible the CET cell you are referring to might not accept reevaluation requests for their exams.

Many CET exams only allow challenging answer keys before results are announced, not requesting re-evaluation of your own answers. It is wise to check the official CET cell website or information bulletin for their policy on
reevaluation.

Yes, filling OBC in your MHT-CET application when you are not OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer)  might affect your eligibility and potentially your percentile calculation  in a few ways:

MHT-CET reserves seats for various categories, including OBC-NCL. If you are not OBC-NCL but applied under that category, it's a discrepancy in your application.

During verification, the authorities might disqualify your application if you don't possess the required OBC-NCL certificate. This could affect your eligibility for any OBC seat allotment.

If you are disqualified from the OBC category, you'll be placed in the general category for merit-based ranking. This could potentially affect your percentile since the general category might have a higher competition level.

Yes, you might be eligible for the Defence Quota in MHT CET if your father is an active personnel in CRPF.

The MHT CET Defence Quota reserves 5% of the total seats (with a limit of 5 seats per institute) for children of Defence Service Personnel

  • DEF-1: This applies to son/daughter/spouse of Ex-defence service personnel domiciled in Maharashtra.

  • DEF-2: This applies to children of active military personnel domiciled in Maharashtra.

  • CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) is a paramilitary force under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.

  • While not strictly classified as "military," CRPF personnel are considered "Defence Service Personnel" for many benefits and quotas.

Since your father is an active CRPF personnel, you might be eligible under DEF-2 if:

    1. Your family is domiciled in Maharashtra: This means you and your father have a permanent residence in Maharashtra.

    2. Your father is actively serving in CRPF: This applies if he is currently employed and not retired.

There can  be issues if you made a mistake in your UID (Unique Identification Aadhaar) while registering for the Diploma CET (Common Entrance Test) and created a new account with different contact details.

Having two accounts with the exam authorities, even if due to a mistake, might be seen as a duplicate registration. This could lead to complications in processing your application or even disqualification. UID is often a primary identifier for entrance exams. A mismatch between the UID you used for registration and your actual UID could flag inconsistencies in your application.

Contact Exam Authorities: Get in touch with the Diploma CET exam authorities as soon as possible. Explain the situation clearly – that you made a mistake in your UID while registering and created a new account due to that error.

Contact Information: Look for the exam authority's contact details on the official Diploma CET website. This might include phone numbers, email addresses, or a contact form.

Provide Proof: Be prepared to furnish them with proof of your mistake. This could include screenshots showing the error in your initial registration and any confirmation emails you received for both accounts.

Request Correction: Request the exam authorities to consider correcting your UID in the original registration with the correct details.

Avoid Using Second Account: Do not use the second account you created with the different phone number and email. This could further complicate the situation.

There is a possibility for an OMS (Outside Maharashtra Student) to get into PICT, SPIT, or DJ Sanghvi through MHT-CET, but it depends on a few factors.

These prestigious institutes (PICT, SPIT, DJ Sanghvi) typically prioritize JEE Mains scores for admissions because it's a national-level engineering entrance exam.

However, there are a small number of seats reserved for OMS students who appear for MHT-CET. The competition for these seats can be very high.
