Dear aspirant,

Considering you as a general category student honestly it would be a difficult thing to get the top colleges as the percentile is a bit low.

But you can go for colleges like MIT WPU, VIT Pune, D.Y Patil college of engineering, Sandip University, Don Bosco Institute of technology , Amity University Mumbai .

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

To get complete information you can check out the link given below-

hello aspirant,

See, it is very difficult to predict precisely the exact marks vs rank factor for KCET. This is because the KCET Cutoff rank vary every year and is not same every year. However, Looking at the previous year KCET Cutoff trends, with 75 marks in KCET, you can get a rank of around 6000-7000.

Furthermore, if you wish to get good engineering colleges like ramaiah, rv, or bms, then you need to score a KCET rank of around within 1000.

Further, please note that the above prediction is totally based on the previous year KCET Cutoff which may vary this year as the KCET Cutoff varies every year.

Further, to know more about the KCET Cutoff for previous year, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-marks-vs-rank

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing absolutely great.

So with regard to your query, firstly, the marks scored in PCM will not be considered for the ranking of KCET exam, they are just the qualification marks in order to eligible for the KCET exam. Secondly, as you had mentioned 98 marks out of 180, so your rank will be between 3001 to 3500.
