GCEC Jaipur Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Global Centre for Entrepreneurship and Commerce (GCEC), Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, has a well-structured admission procedure designed to select talented and motivated students into its various programs. Focused on entrepreneurship, commerce, and management education, GCEC provides a distinctively different learning environment on its sprawling 44-acre campus.

Identifying candidates with a sound academic background and potential at business-related endeavors is the admission process. The primary criteria for undergraduate programs include the applicant's performance in the 12th-grade examinations. Besides, GCEC has adopted a two-step selection process to ensure they take on students who are most suited for the programs they offer.

Following the Case Study Test, shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview. This interview is conducted by the GCEC team and serves as an opportunity for the institute to assess the candidate's personality, communication skills, and alignment with the program's objectives. The interview also allows candidates to demonstrate their passion for entrepreneurship or commerce and discuss their career aspirations.

Application Process

The application process for GCEC programs is simple and can be summarized as follows:

1. Application Submission: Candidates fill out the application form available on the GCEC website available at the admission office.

2. Document Submission: Along with the completed application form, candidates need to submit the following documents:

• 10th and 12th grade mark sheets and certificates
• Undergraduate degree certificate and mark sheets (for MBA and Ph.D. applicants)
• Entrance exam scores (if applicable)
• Passport-sized photographs
• Any other relevant certificates or achievements

3. Application Fee Payment: Candidates must pay the required application fee. The fee amount and payment methods can be found on the GCEC website or by contacting the admission office.

4. Case Study Test: Short-listed candidates will be invited to take the Case Study Test. This test is usually conducted at the GCEC campus or designated centers.

5. Personal Interview: Candidates who perform well in the Case Study Test will be called for a Personal Interview with the GCEC admission panel.

6. Result Declaration: Final results are declared based on the candidate's overall performance in their previous academic records, Case Study Test, and Personal Interview.

7. Admission Confirmation: Selected candidates will be required to confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the stipulated time limit and submitting the necessary documentation.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com Programs:

There are two specialized B.Com programs offered at GCEC: B.Com Management Accounting (Hons) and B.Com International Finance with ACCA UK. The admission for the three years of these programs is based upon the 12th grade of the candidate and his/her Case Study Test and Personal Interview at GCEC. These programs have been designed to give students a solid background in accounting, finance, and management.

BBA Programs:

The institute has BBA in Entrepreneurship which is similar to the admissions process of that of B.Com programs. They are judged according to their 12th-grade results, performance in the Case Study Test, and their Personal Interview. This program is intended for students aspiring to become entrepreneurs or work in innovative business environments.

MBA Program:

Two years post-graduate GCEC MBA in International Finance ACCA program. For admission, performance in the undergraduate degree is considered, followed by Case Study Test and Personal Interview. This program aims at graduates who want to specialize in international finance and obtain ACCA qualifications.

Ph.D. Program:

Candidates who seek admission to GCEC's Ph.D. in Commerce have to sit for an entrance test. Those with NET/JRF qualifications, however, are exempt from taking the entrance test. The admission of doctoral students is rigorous and may include other evaluations of a candidate's research potential.
