Government College for Boys, Kolar Admission Process

Admission process Degree wise

Admission is based on merit in the 10+2 results. Six specializations are provided in B.A. programs. For example, History, Economics, Sociology, Optional Kannada, Urdu, Journalism, Tourism, and Optional English.

The merit list based on the 10+2 score from science subjects is the basis of admission to B.Sc. programs: Chemistry-Botany-Zoology, Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics, Physics-Mathematics-Computer Science, and Chemistry-Botany-Biotechnology.

The college runs the Bachelor of Commerce course. Based on the merit of 10+2 results, admission will be considered based on previous schools.

The Bachelor of Computer Applications program admits students based on their 10+2 score, with a focus on mathematics and computer science subjects.

Depending on at least what is likely with BBA, it appears to be considering the 10+2 results with a lot of weight on those results from commerce and mathematics subjects.
