GCELT BTech Admission Procedure

• Students need to appear for the entrance examination - the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or JEE Main for GCELT admissions.

• The candidates need to register for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board  WBJEEB counselling. In counselling, they have to give first preference to the Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology, Kolkata.

• The candidates will be called for the counselling based on their scores in the entrance examinations.

• The merit list will be prepared accordingly with the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in WBJEE/JEE Main.

• For lateral entry, the scores of the JELET examination are required.

• Final GCELT admission will be offered based on choice filling, choice locking, document verification, and GCELT admission fee payment.

• Once the seat allotment is finalised, candidates need to visit the allotted institute and complete the GCELT admission process.
