Degree-wise Admission Process
Undergraduate Programs (BA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, BCA)
Admission to all undergraduate programs is merit-based, following the Government of Karnataka's norms. The specific disciplines offered in each program are:
BA: Various specializations such as Optional English, Political Science, Journalism, History, Economics, Sociology, and Kannada.
B.Sc: Life Science, Chemistry and Environmental Science; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science; Chemistry, Botany, Zoology; Physics, Mathematics, Electronics.
BBA: Admission based on merit.
B.Com: Admission based on merit.
BCA: Admission based on merit.
Postgraduate Programs (MA, M.Com, M.Sc)
The MA Political Science, M.Com, and M.Sc Physics programs are admitted via centralized counseling conducted by Bangalore University, following merit and roster systems.

It entirely depends upon the college you choose. Most of the colleges might have started their portions or semester in the August and during the October it is almost the semester end. Therefore many of the colleges won't allow the candidates from other colleges in October. Some colleges will give the admission.
