6. The Institute will prepare a merit list on a basis of merit concerning the qualifying examination.

7. Seat Allocation after Counselling: The names of candidates in the merit list shall be invited for the counselling session, where they will be alloted seats based on merit and availability of seats.

8. Fee Payment: At the time of seat allocation, the candidate shall pay the course fee. The total fees for both the diploma in Mechatronics Engineering and the diploma in Tool and Die Making course is Rs 88,000 for the period of course.

9. Verification of Documents: Attend verification of documents with all originals.

10. Confirmation of Admission: Admission will be confirmed after successful payment and document verification.

Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma Programs:

  1. Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering: This is a three-year program integrating mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer engineering. It has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination and gives preference to candidates with good grounding in Physics, Mathematics, and Basic Electronics.
  2. Diploma in Tool and Die Making: This is also a three-year program covering the manufacture of tools, molds, dies, and fixtures. It has the same capacity of 60 students as for the previous program. Admission is designed to prefer candidates scoring well in Mathematics and Physics subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent examination.
  3. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering: This is the latest entrant among the programs offered by GTTC Koppal. This three-year program basically involves a wide range of electrical and electronic systems. This program also has an approved intake of 60 students. It is likely that admission has been on merit in the qualifying exam, with attention to scoring in mathematics and physics.
