MMCT Mangalore Admission Process

Mangalore Marine College and Technology (MMCT) is an AICTE-recognized institution situated in Mangalore, Karnataka. Providing an all-incluisve admission procedure for engineering programs, MMCT has its method of fair and merit selection for admission into its courses. Majorly, MMCT has three full-time engineering courses: BE Marine Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, and BE Computer Science and Engineering. The admission process at MMCT usually begins after the completion of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and that of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) since these are most critical for students seeking admission through the government quota seats.

For the academic year 2025-26, the COMEDK UGET is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2025; the date for KCET is as yet unstated but usually occurs in the months of April or May. This is the time that students should check the official websites for this entrance exam to stay up to date in information regarding deadlines and exam dates. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to MMCT engineering programs include completing the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Besides this, candidates must score as per the minimum aggregate score that is prescribed by the regulatory authorities.
