Chandigarh University Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #1 Among all Private Indian Universities in QS Asia Rankings 2025 | Scholarships worth 210 CR
Hello Aswarth,
95 marks in MU OET, there are possibilities that your rank might be around 15000. As per the last cutoff for mechatronics branch in Manipal University, Manipal campus was 8218. With this score its very difficult to get a seat in Mechatronics MU. But you can try for the same branch in Manipal University, Jaipur campus. You will easily be getting a seat in that campus. MU, Jaipur is also a very good campus as it provides a good campus placement opportunities and have good and experienced faculties.
Hope this helps, thank you
All the best
I think I am very much eligible to answer this question.
Well I wrote MUOET ’17 and my score was the same ,that is 139/200 and my rank was 1958.
After scoring 139 I was damn sure of getting CSE.(because I did not have any knowledge of the cutoff) Fast forward to 4th June 2017 ,the first day of the round 1 counselling.
I still remember almost every guy/girl was there for CSE. But dreams shattered when all the 240 CSE seats were allocated till the rank of 1386.
So I took IT and had put CSE as waiting.
Fast forward to 2ND round of counselling, got the mail conveying that the CSE seats allocation went till rank of 1526 and hence again I couldn't make it.
Then came the 3rd Round of counselling, got a mail conveying that the CSE seat allocation went till the rank of 1833. It was too close but I still dint make it.
After 3rd Round I made my mind that I wont get my dream branch as there are very less chances that anyone will leave their seats in MIT as it was already JULY.
Then came the 4th round of counselling which was on 14 JULY 2017 (i suppose) .It was around 6pm I got a mail and somewhere in my mind I had a thought that I won't make it.
But I was surprised to see that I made it and the allocation went till the rank of 1978. U see, it was too close and pure luck.
Couple of my friends who had a score of 138 applied for the waiting but couldn't make it. So they were waiting for 5th round.
But 5th round(the last round ) surprised them as CSE was the only branch whose cutoff rank remained the same as that of 4th round.
In short if you wanna test your luck just like I did..go ahead. But if you don't wanna face all this then go for an other attempt and atleast score 145+.
Hello Harish,
Look you can definitely get admission in Manipal University. Most of the students prefer to take CSE engineering and seats are also filled very fast for this branch. Closing rank on this college last year was 1893. So with your current rank, you take any branch of your choice.

Dear Pranav,
The cut off for admission in the Manipal campus in Computer Science Engineering branch was 1893 rank for the year 2017 in the General category.
A similar cut off if expected this year, it doesnt seem to have a fair chance. Best of luck!
Hope for CS,ECE,EEE.
Hello,
For admission to MBBS courses, you must have appeared and qualify the NEET UG (National eligibility Cum Entrance Test Under-Graduate) exam.

I’m currently pursuing Information Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), and my experience so far has been decent, though not without its challenges. The infrastructure here is solid—labs, classrooms, and the library are well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi is reliable most of the time. There’s scope for improvement in some of the lab equipment, but overall, it’s above average.
The college infrastructure is impressive, offering a blend of modern facilities and well-maintained amenities. Spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards and high-speed internet create an environment conducive to learning. However, some areas could benefit from better upkeep, especially outdoor seating and parking spaces.
The campus is clean and green, with good Wi-Fi, sports areas, and comfortable hostels. It provides everything students need to study and live well.It could use a little work for getting Ac in workshops.
