MIT Manipal Facilities

Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal has various infrastructural facilities for its students and faculty members. MIT Manipal hostel facilities facilities include separate hostels for both boys and girls. All the basic facilities are available for students in the MIT Manipal hostels. The cafeteria of MIT Manipal serves students with healthy and nutritious food items. It has a well-maintained auditorium with required facilities to organise various events and functions.

MIT Manipal campus facilities also include a healthcare centre to meet the medical needs of students and faculty members. MIT Manipal has a library which has a vast collection of books that helps the readers in upgrading their knowledge. Some other MIT Manipal campus facilities are Wi-Fi, sports facilities, IT infrastructure and laboratories.

Boys Hostel
Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal has a separate hostel for boys on the campus premises. In the hostel, there are various facilities such as a TV room, aqua guard for hot, cold and normal drinking water and other leisure/sports activities. Wi-Fi is available 24x7 a week in all hostels. CCTV cameras are installed at the entrances to all hostels and the campus foyer. All hostels have 24-hour electricity and water supply.
Girls Hostel
The institute offers separate accommodation facilities for girl students in MIT Manipal. Students are provided with necessary facilities in the hostels such as a TV room, aqua guard for hot, cold and normal drinking water and other leisure/sports activities. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in all hostels 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. CCTV cameras are installed at all hostel entrances and in the campus foyer. Every girls’ hostel has a 24-hour power and water supply.
Library
The Central Library of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The three-story library is fully air-conditioned and has a total area of about 70,000 square feet, with a capacity of 800 users at any given time. The following institutes' faculty and students have access to books, journals, magazines, and back issues, as well as DVDs and other resources.
Sports
Manipal Institute of Technology has several indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as badminton, tennis, soccer & squash etc. The institute has courts for various sports activities.
Cafeteria
MIT Manipal has a cafeteria that serves delicious and nutritious food to students and staff members.
Auditorium
Manipal Institute of Technology has a well-maintained auditorium with the necessary facilities to conduct various events and activities.
Medical/Hospital
Manipal Institute of Technology has a health centre to meet the medical needs of students.

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity is provided to students and faculty members in the institute.

College Infrastructure

I’m currently pursuing Information Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), and my experience so far has been decent, though not without its challenges. The infrastructure here is solid—labs, classrooms, and the library are well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi is reliable most of the time. There’s scope for improvement in some of the lab equipment, but overall, it’s above average.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is impressive, offering a blend of modern facilities and well-maintained amenities. Spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards and high-speed internet create an environment conducive to learning. However, some areas could benefit from better upkeep, especially outdoor seating and parking spaces.

The campus is clean and green, with good Wi-Fi, sports areas, and comfortable hostels. It provides everything students need to study and live well.It could use a little work for getting Ac in workshops.

Based on your MET score of 133 out of 240, securing a seat in the CSE (AI & ML) program at MIT Manipal is highly unlikely. Historically, the closing rank for this specialization typically falls within the 900–2400 range, and your current score is not competitive enough to meet that standard.
Your 92% in CBSE 12th does fulfill the basic eligibility, but it does not influence the merit list, which is strictly determined by the MET score. Unless there’s a significant drop in cutoffs which is extremely rare you will need to consider alternative branches or institutions.
While this may be disappointing, it’s important to explore other options where your profile might be a better fit. .

With a score of 44.6% , your rank is likely to be higher than the closing ranks for CSE branches at MIT Bengaluru.

Explore other campuses of MIT, such as Manipal or Jaipur, where the cutoff ranks might be more accommodating.
Look into other engineering specializations with potentially lower cutoff ranks.
Research other private universities offering engineering programs with different admission criteria.
