According to 2017 statistics if you belong to SC category then there is a chance of getting seat in this college.If you belong to 2B rural then there is chance of getting seat in EC and IS.

NMAMIT is a very good institute for CSE,Also the placement record of this branch is very good. Without doubt you can prefer CSE in this college. CSE is the best branch of this college both by placement and teaching wise.

Every year maximum student from this branch get placed and i can say that placement for CSE branch is 100%,only those students from this branch not get placed who have backlog,otherwise all students get placed. Also some of the best companies visit college for placement.

Some companies are VMware, infosys, accenture, tech mahindra e. t. c. So. You can prefer NMAMIT for CSE without any doubt.

You cannot convert NMAM Institute of Technology unfortunately as cutoffs below 10000 ranks under CSE department and all otger streams. 


Your chances are good for following college in CSE department s :

  • SJB Institute of Technology 
  • CMR Institute of technology 
  • MVJ college of engineering 
  • Basavewshwar engineering college.

I think you are talking about KCET. Based on your rank you have chances for these colleges:

  • NIE Institute of Technology Mysore
  • Government Engineering College Hassan
  • New Horizon College of Engineering Bangalore
  • Sapthagiri College of Engineering Bangalore
  • KS Institute of technology Bangalore

Fee of almost college including hostel and mess will be nearly 2 lakhs per annum.

considering you as general category student with a rank of 25.5k its not possible to get SDMCET college as its quite good college while to know the previous year cut off kindly chek the below link

for EEE you will get it easily.

P.S. assuming you belong to general category 

25313 and 27133 was the cutoff of 2017 ansd 2016 respectively for comp sc in nmam institute of teck. in KCET.

The campus of NMAMIT college has a great infrastructure .There are separate blocks for the 1st , 2nd ,3rd and 4th year students , The departments have there own dedicated floor , the college provides the greenery in the campus by having trees and park .

The infrastructure at NMAM Institute of Tecnology is well-developed and student-friendly. The campus is spacious and green offering a peaceful environment for learning. Classroom are modern well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and smart boards to aids effective teaching.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is quite good ! The library is well and fully equipped and has quite a lot of books in there and wifi is pretty strong in library but outside it's not that good..classrooms don't have wifi and by next year The buildings and infrastructure will be even more eye catching
