Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering and Technology, Bareilly Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering and Technology (RBCET), Bareilly, is a government-aided AICTE approved affiliated college. The college conducts various engineering programs at the UG and Diploma levels. The admission process in RBCET is meant for choosing capable and motivated students for its different courses.

The admission process of RBCET is generally aligned with the academic year, which generally starts in August-September. The college mainly considers scores of national and state-level entrance examinations for admission to its courses. For B.Tech courses, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG scores are accepted by RBCET. Apart from this, students who have passed the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) are also eligible for admission.

Eligibility conditions for B.Tech courses in RBCET are generally the completion of 10+2 studies with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as main subjects. Cutoffs and other conditions may differ based on the course selected and the performance in the entrance exams.

Application Process

RBCET application process is different based on the course and the entrance test the candidate has appeared for:

For B.Tech Courses:

1. Pass in JEE Main, CUET UG, or other state level entrance tests.
2. Refer to the college website or admission announcements for details of application.
3. Complete the application form for the desired B.Tech course.
4. Submit the application form along with the documents and application fee.
5. Wait for the merit list or counseling procedure, as the case may be, depending upon the admission process (JEE Main, CUET UG, or UPSEE).
6. In case your name appears in the shortlist, follow the admission process, i.e., document verification and payment of fee.

For Diploma Courses:

1. Attend the JEECUP exam.
2. Fill up the JEECUP counseling procedure.
3. Select RBCET and preferred diploma course at the time of counseling.
4. On seat allotment, report to RBCET for document verification and admission process.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech Courses

RBCET provides B.Tech programs such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Admission to all the B.Tech courses is the same:

• They should have a valid score in JEE Main, CUET UG, or other valid state-level engineering entrance exams.
• The college follows university rules for the admission procedure.
• JEE Main passed students are given priority over UPSEE passed students for certain programs such as Information Technology and Civil Engineering.
• The sanctioned intake is program-based, i.e., between 15 to 60 seats.

Diploma Programs:

The diploma programs are offered by RBCET in Electrical Engineering and Production Engineering. Admission to diploma courses is as follows:

• The admissions are made through entrance test examination organized by JEECUP.
• Both diploma courses have a sanctioned strength of 60 seats per course.
