Hello there,
To get admission in MSRIT in CSE branch, you have to rank within 1000. For that, you need to score 130+ marks out of 180, in COMEDK 2020. It's not so difficult if you are well prepared. You may get CSE at 120 marks as well, but it is not sure, as the "marks vs rank" changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper. So, to be on the safe side, you should score 130+ marks.

Msrit has a ranking of 17 whereas rvce is ranked 58. The infrastructure of msrit is better than rvce. In msrit, the placement rate is 95% for mtech in bitotech with an average package of 7.7 lpa. Whereas in rvce average package is around 5lpa. However fees for msrit is 1.79 lakh but for rvce it is 1.28 lakh . So if there is no money constraint, msrit is better.

The placements in Ramaiah University are good. The average placement a student gets is around 4-5L per annum. The website of the university includes all the information about the same. Admissions in Ramaiah Institute of Technology  to the 4 year undergraduate engineering programmes are given on the basis of the KCE or COMEDK UGET scores. The college admission s are governed by VTU which accepts these exams for admission to the university itself and the affiliated colleges.

As you had not mentioned your category , I will give you cut-off ranks for 4 categories GEN , OBC  , SC and ST. For KCET , cut-off ranks are General (7837 ) , OBC (13039 ) , SC (29024 ) , ST (18909 ) and for  COMEDK UGET cut-off ranks for General, OBC , SC , ST is 26258 .

The KCET entrance exam cut off ranks for medical engineering in MSRIT is 11200 around in general category & COMEDK uget closing rank is 6519 as per past years cut offs. (Cut offs are subject to change as it is just the cut offs mektioned according to past years)

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is the hostel which also includes the aryabhatt and NRI hostels. The college hostel fees lies between 8000 to 9000 per month. This college also introduced in given the no ragging policy in the college. Rooms has also got their separate washrooms and bathrooms with hot water system. If you want More and more facilities like AC, laundry service, washing machines  or vacuum cleaners and other things then the price of the rooms will automatically increase. It may increase upto 1 lakh per year too. It depend upon the facilities the student need.
