Overall Ramaiah is a decent college

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is decent, facilities like library, gym, basketball court are present, also the college campus is equipped with the WiFi. So regarding the infrastructure the college is decent with all the facilities that should need to be present in any decent college.

    Academics

Academics is average the curriculum is ok., the quality of teaching is average but the crowd here is really good. The students are very diversed coming from all the different parts of India. So overall the college is decent regarding the Academics.

    Placements

The details regarding the placement are often not disclosed by the college .But as the college is in Bangalore so the placements for the CSE,ISE branches are decent, some of the good companies visit the college but at the end it depends entirely on the student. The T&P cell can't do much in it.

    Value for Money

The fee of the college is affordable and it is quite cheaper as compared to the other college of his standard like VIT,SRAM,MANIPAL. So from the value for money perspective the college is decent.

    Campus Life

Campus life totally depend on the person itself and to the kind of people you hang out with.

    College Infrastructure

I can say college infrastructure is good enough to fascinate you. Being roamed across the college i can say that it has got almost all the facilities that it should have. Hostels are also good being separate for freshers.

    Academics

Academics is also good enough. Teachers are supportive and corporative. It's syllabus is also updated and has got lots of extra curricular activities down the line. Overall academics is well balanced.

    Placements

Being a fresher all i can say from my little experience is that the college brings lots of companies inside the campus. I have heard from my seniors that the average package is also very good specially for computer related branches.

    College Infrastructure

My college has all the necessary equipments and facilities . The whole campus is wifi enabled, even the hostels. MSRIT takes necessary care of all students may it be in terms of academics or sports. Hygiene is maintained all around the campus. Its a friendly environment there!

    Academics

I am pursuing B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication. So far my experience is all good. Teachers are supportive, syllabus is completed on time. Quality of teaching is also good. Curriculum is updated regularly.

    Placements

MSRIT offers you good placement if you have worked hard all the four years over here. Even below mediocre students get placed. Highest package offered till now is 50 lakhs to a student of ISE branch in the year 2016 I guess.

    Value for Money

My course costs two lakhs per annum approx. and its worth it. The environment here, the placements, the quality of education it all adds up. Even the hostels are kept clean.

Have a question related to MSRIT Bangalore ?

For Biotechnology which college is good? BMSCE or MSRIT or Chanakya University? Chanakya has advanced new lab setup with support from Biocon. But it's first batch there. it will be trial and error batch. that's the only big con of that university. but its syllabus is NEP. So, which is better?

    Hello Aspirant,

If you are opting for Biotechnology, each university has its own advantages:

    • BMSCE and MSRIT are well established universities with good faculty, decent placement history (certainly very respectable relative to emerging colleges) and alumni network/community. Programme is stable now and processes are well established, however, they would be using old ways of teaching and probably the infrastructure will be old too.
    • Chanakya University is new and backed by Biocon and designed under NEP framework (looks good). Syllabus looks strong, especially with practical lab work, exposure to research(PhD), and inter-disciplinary consumption of subject and knowledge. However, students will probably be first year batch so will have to deal with uncertainty due to execution, placements and faculty stability.

I got 6949 rank in comedk Will I get ece at msrit or bms or rvce

With a COMEDK rank of 6949 , you are not likely to get ECE at top colleges like MSRIT, BMSCE, or RVCE , as their ECE cutoffs are usually below 4,000 .

Consider other branches like Mechanical, Civil, or other IT specializations where closing ranks range between 25,000 to 60,000

Explore less competitive engineering colleges in Karnataka that cut off around 50,000 to 100,000 .

Can I get admission in msrit in machanical branch basis on 23000 ranked in comedk

    hi,

With a rank of 23,000 in COMEDK, getting admission in the Mechanical branch at MSRIT might be difficult because usually the closing rank for Mechanical in this college tends to be much lower. MSRIT is one of the top colleges and seats in popular branches like Mechanical usually fill up quickly. But still, you can try in the later rounds of counselling because sometimes the cutoffs go a bit higher if some students leave or change their options
